    we had 2, years ago of valentine.1 was a c**t for digging at rabbits,other was ok,keeped getting there knobs caught while going through sheep netting.lol.really no good for where we hunt ,they struggle with dry stone walls etc,,

    nights shootinbg on the fells,3 shots 2 kills,was,nt bad night , keep farmers happy and 1 few weeks earlier shot in morning,

    we use the same mate and you can make some real different noises with it just with pushing more pressure through it ,,works a treat on these fell foxes.have a lot of success with the hand squel as well,,start of season we tend to use the brass disc.works ok for us,

    depends where you hunt ,lowland there aint many rabbits about due to heavy continous rain.what type of terriers do you use ??and do your lurchers hunt etc??

    i ran a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull bitch bout 15 years ago ,murder on roe ,but would,nt even tackle a fox,no matter how many you put in front of her she would,nt even grab them.gave her to a keeper friend who used her on fallow deer,now she was getting amongst plenty but lacked in the brain department so eventually she ended up taking 1 right to the forhead and killed instantly.need to no what there doing with the big beasties.lol

    my old dog ,give 100% every time he was out ,pleasure to own and run,do foxes for fun,had his fair share of roe.,but never seen anything bigger.could do some good bags of rabbits as well.put down at 14,
