  1. I find unfiltered, the light goes out of range with a wide spread. With a red filter, your within 30-40yards but eyes reflect put to ? You can also get a lense to narrow to a pencil beam. Not tried it but a chap on here reported good results.
  2. Yup, got a Solarforce L2 Cree Torch (bought from ant-supplies.co.uk now disappeared) with IR bulb (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Solarforce-Infrared-Red-IR-Night-Vision-bulb-4-Surefire-/270495212067?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&hash=item3efac56223). Has the Large AA looking battery (bought two), can't remember the code, and is more than adequate.
  3. Thats nice happy easter to you CANT BELIEVE THE PEOPLE ON HERE SOMETIMES IS THAT NO WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT ME THIS MORNING NUMPTY What f*****g team do you support? Your always laughing at Celtic but your offended at the phrase 'Fenian c**t'???? You need to understand that Scot cant help it because he's a .....a......a.........whats the proper terminology again.... .......eh..................."Oh Aye!!!!".. . "A DIRTY ORANGE b*****d!!!!"........... I haven't been banned for 'my pish talk'.................have you?....
  4. I second that too. The TX200 part... I think it's that rifle that blurs the line for me.
  5. Jury is still out for me. I loved the multi shot capability of my pcp, but was too scared of the internals to even contemplate servicing it. I adore that quality in my tx200's and HW97k. Can rip em open have a good nose and a tweak grease em up and slap back together, fantastic. But boy is it a bitch having to break your shooting position, sometimes cover, every shot. Sure it forces you to ensure every shot counts, but its not very good. That said, I'm never checking pressure. It's a moot point as I don't but I can sit there all day long. I have only springers, until someone trades me for
  6. Looks more like a MKIII TX200HC to me... big difference price wise. 2nd hand probably £280-£320 mebbe? a MKII would only fetch £100-£200 i'd imagine
  7. I had a Raider 10xs which i swapped for the mk3. I can't justify three rifles. I was secretly relieved you got the s410 thus delaying the inevitable... Moneywise - offers must be over £200 for Hw97k, and over £100 for the Mk2 TX200. Ideally £250 and £150 respectively plus p&p.
  8. Cheers scramble, if it can't hack recoil, its useless to me. Not that I could afford one....
  9. Just seen this on uttings http://www.uttings.co.uk/Product/639/103278/hawke-tactical-laser-light-kit-hk3508/ Not interested in the 'illuminator' it says the laser is useful for checking zero, that i like the sound of, but i'm dubious... Anyone with experience available for comment/recommendations? Anyone seriously use this sort of product?
  10. Doesn't sound like it, but red mite often deters hens going in. Maybe they brought some with them? If nothing else, you've bought POL numptys. I've got numptys too...
  11. Think this thread needs the title editing.... Something along the lines of "Moderately Grumpy Git..."
  12. Lol "arse over tit climbing a fence"
  13. Now Now children, just a bit of fun. Hehehe All those that swear from now on must donate a boxless egg to my poor deprived children and publicly apologise!

  16. The HW97k - In very good shape internally and externally. A very small patch of thin blueing on one side where silencer meets barrel. Not that I worry (I just make sure its always oiled). Based outside Stroud, Glos. Face to Face for swap, otherwise will post for cash via bank transfer prior to despatch if face to face not possible. Happy to sell separately. For selling - Going to do i
  17. My set up. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3366f118a3 http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c1c93b0f7 Check 'used' on link below http://www.ebay.co.u...id=p3286.c0.m14
  18. I got a MkII TX200 that could do with re-blueing. Air Arms said no. Local Gunsmith said no. Don't particularly want to send it off, so a home job is my only option really, though that chap is a useful contact to bear in mind...
  19. You're a barrel of laughs! Nice constructive input...
