    Well my scenario was 3 rifles, one man. One knock about, one casual, one formal/wedding suit. I figured I'd be happy to lend knock about and casual as they only occasionally came out of the wardrobe. I definitely wouldn't expect people to lend out their pride and joys. It would have been a nice idea if I'd thought of it prior to selling them!

    A quick write up on a small blueing job. All courtesy of secretagentmole. So many thanks indeed to him. The Patient; MKII TX200 .177 manufactured Jan 95. Symptoms; Thin blueing on underlever starting to betray an orange hue. Patient was internally in very good health, so all she was in need of was some cosmetic surgery. The procedure was very straight forward indeed. A clean cloth, a dab of gel applied fairly liberally but as evenly as feasible.     Kanny you misunderstand, I don't want a loan/finance rather the product isn't released until you pay the balance off. The guys i used didn't charge for the privilege either. You do own it outright, but you're commited with a target. Aimless saving doesn't work for me, too undisciplined ya see.

    Am thinking up plans... There are so many guns out there and it's all very well handling them in the shop but what if you could 'borrow' one for a couple of days/a week/a month? I say borrow as I imagine there would be hellish amounts of red tape to wade through if you used the word rent. Privately could work though... Lets say you have a gun surplus. I have a 97k (not for much longer i don't think). You're interested in them. Perhaps unsure about the weight in the field... You wanna borrow it. You pay transport/collect both ways.     I'm poor. I'm also crap at saving what little dosh I get. I found a place on Gunstar that enabled me to buy a raider by paying weekly, they also didn't care how long it took me, really great guys, trouble is, they, being a business can only send to RFD's. Pain in my backside because a)it costs extra and b)transport - I have none within walking distance. I REALLY want a hw100 set up (pump not bottle) and I imagine I'm not the only poor bugger who does.     That's what Dave686 has offered me it's a good offer too MKII and HW97k for his s200 (with silencer, bipod, bag and pump)... i'm still uncertain about .22. More expensive pellets, loopier trajectory...better shot count though... I'M SO TORN!
