  2. There was once a young boy who, in his quest to leave childhood and become a man, embarked on a journey to foreign lands. During his travels he came upon a wise man. Seeking his wisdom the boy asked him many questions, the answers to which he thought would aid him in his endeavour. Instead, the wise man handed him a teaspoon filled to the lip with water. The wise man passed the spoon to the boy and tasked him with walking the walls of the castle and returning the spoon to him with not a drop of water spilled. With great care the boy did as he was charged and, after a great length of time, re
  3. Not a straight swap no, 97's tend to change hands for £200-£250, s200s £300-£350 plus cost of mods like multishot and silencer etc.
  4. The Evanix Monster is an air rifle capable of firing automatically i read, though you best live in the US or somewhere similar cuz it won't be sold here 12ftlbs or otherwise!
  5. sorry mate..but invoice them for what? what are they supposed to be paying for? am i just being a dumb ass here Time. Like solicitors. Cost of letter writing, phone calls. False allegations don't come cheap!
  6. Old Queenies Jubilee must have them scrounging for funds. Her Majesty's Police, Her Majesty's Court, The Crown prosecution, You. The House always wins. If they don't its because they want to keep the illusion of that people get 'justice'. All you get is a lighter wallet. Invoice them! If they don't pay up put them on statutory demand. The beauty is, a statutory demand is corporate and bankruptcy law, much harder for em to wriggle out of.
  7. Yey! The old mobile internet allowed me to watch this one. Wow Si, you're tireless, a full on video factory. Good thing too, cuz now I'm waiting for the next one!
  8. You think andy could improve that fiesty meteor of yours davy?!
  9. Lol, the face says it all! Superb gun that, popping the smallest spinners consistently at 35 yards. I was trying to take a photo there so Mawders could see what he was missing. Cheers for the test drive, and I can second what Wurz says completely.
  10. Hey young Mike, dont despair, you can borrow my Druids calendar I've had it from new! bit tatty and worn out now (Like Me!) I'le send it in the post! Phew! That means I can put this westlife one I whipped out of a recycling box to best possible use...lighting the fire!
  11. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/260722-xxx-airgunning/ I did a little piece on that article...
  12. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. My mayan calendar runs out on the 21st of December...
  13. You're welcome mate. Have a look at the link I sent and have a think about converting it, you won't be disappointed! (Buy a chrono first though!)
  14. Don't use it when its cold. CO2 takes longer to gassify from its liquid state resulting in a loss of power. Was that the one off gunstar?
  15. Offer him £60... http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Air-Rifles/SMK-XS79-gun-for-sale-gs98964.aspx
  16. Got a hpa converted 79 in .22 Welsh Willy seals, polished trigger and internals. 60-100 shots per fill.
  17. Regarding the rabbit skin glue, I'm sure the urine was used partly for entertainment value. In the past, I have successfully removed squirrel fur from the hide using wood ash. After soaking for approximately 3 days in the ash mixture, the fur simply rubs away with a stick. The difference in the processes being simply that I used an alkaline solution, McCloud an acidic one.
  18. Yeah, but a shed?! on wheels? Someone knows how to steer clear of planning eh! I suppose 'Man Made Shed' doesn't quite have the same ring to it. McCloud claimed to have bought the land for the price of a second hand car i'm told. I'm sceptical on that due to what is termed 'pony paddock syndrome'. He possibly either got 'mates rates' or sold it to himself! The programs is a good escape for many I suppose. I have only watched only part of one episode though so cannot really judge.
  19. If the next one is on route even with a detour i would gladly pick you up. Although you will have to bring your own tent, fore i draw a line over sharing my car with another man. lol. I am like you living off a very low income, but would gladly give you a lift. ATVB Roger (the photographer) Roger you are a true gentleman. Forgive me for not taking the time to properly get acquainted. I think I must beg the forgiveness of a few others too as bad as that sounds. Hopefully we'll remedy that in the not too distant future.
  20. Sorry Lads, I just have to say "I'm hungry"....
  21. I would very much like to attend another meet, hopefully chipping in for fuel and getting a lift share with a local member. If I may be blunt, I don't think I'd be able to do much beyond plinking on the zeroing range as the level of donating going on was way above my income bracket . That's in no way intended to demean anyone's generosity nor is it a protest or complaint. Davy and Chaz, what a cracking job you did. You guys think you could partner up, lease/buy a defunct farm for cheap somewhere in Wales and set up an airgun paradise? Just an idea... I'd very happily move and be your
