Look mate if you are passing through Fife pull in and you can stay in my field...its 7 acres surrounded by foresty. Plenty game all around and nobody to bother you....... Call it £500 a month cash...... That'd seem to good a price to be true! A real bargain. Think I'll take my chances in the surrounding forestry though, don't think me ungrateful. N

There's also a half built house with all the timber and stone you need. Be nice to the dog walkers. The veg patch needs digging over. I would leave you the chickens, but you best get there quick. Keep it tidy and like me, you may get a box of biscuits!

    Which leads me to my golden rules. 1) don't open the door. 2) do not attempt to bargain/argue/reason, that time has quite obviously passed. 3) unless your Alamo has toilet facilities, skip the morning coffee. Wish someone had told me number 3. I may recommend they include it in the notice.

    No alternatives as yet. Though i could ask one of the farmers i shoot for if he has a patch in exchange for able and willing help. If he's a Daily Mail reader, I'd be better off asking gonetoearth, 'g machine' bloke or Neil82... Family is at my partners parents. Just me holding the fort.
