    Done one on a dog and they don't work, said my lurcher had no running dog in it.

    Yeah, they are, sister to this bitch is flying makeing a cracking bitch. this one came from a keeper up Scotland to me, came to me not seen a think had few issues, got her running caught few things just still abit imature yet I'm hoping she will click and start using her mouth abit more but high hopes for her. Lad who got sire fair play to him put some graft in front of them dogs, had few days out with him very nice lad

    Had a good day out with a couple pals over the boarder last week, covered about 14 miles in pissing down rain and fairly windy conditions but ye just carnt comlpian walking the hill when it's this beautiful. Thought I'd share a couple pics

    See I think there slow, cross them with a good terrier and you have a cracking bushing dog, just my experience with them.

    I find the pure teckles to slow for me but crossed with a terrier they make exceptional bushing/ hunting dogs.

    Iv worked with beddys and beddy whippets they do okay in the cover but there coats are shit. I don't realy like them tbh they carnt do nothing a terrier carnt mixed with a spaniel might work out but I just don't like the breed so wouldn't use one.

    As a matter of fact I hunt with a couple pure teckles and teckle xs and I find the teckle xs a better mix than the Pures, the Pures are to slow for my liking Teckle x pat realy good butch he put her back to a pure and has a bitch pup there at about 9 month old and she is comeing into her own but this bitch is a class little animal doesn't catch in cover but if something is there she will get it moving. She does hunt a bit far from time to time but good recall aswell

    Yeah all my dogs have good recal but a hound based bushing dog on a scent is like a running dog on its quarry they throw a deaf ear, my pal runs teckle x terrier and they hunt well and I just think a spaniel x terrier will fit in well with them and my own terrier

    See where I hunt roads are a couple feilds some places even closer.

    See I think I need to stay away from the beagle or some thing with very little beagle in it as I car t have a dog hunting to far I still want it to cast out but not go on forever that's why I'm thinking terrier xs spaniel
