Predicting the size of a terrier

is there any way to predict the chest size? at what age will you have a good guess? even if you get your hands on sire and dam there is no telling about the offspring. -

i like the look of this little fellow! i think he will serve you well in any arena.

when you are hunting hard, i would feed him as much as he needs. maybe even double. when you arent, cut it back a bit.

i have a bitch that always runs heavy unless i am very careful about her food intake. because of her build, a bit shorter in the leg and wide in front, she carries her weight poorly and looks like a bit of a sausage. here she is in good field condition at 6.5 years old and 11.5 inches

thank you for the compliments. however i have done them no justice. this last 2 years we've been out hunting maybe once or twice. all that is about to change. i have re-evaluated my life, my priorities, if i have to quit my job, we will hunt.
