i used to have two oxcroft bred ones ,used them on foxes turned out very hard dogs.. i keep thinking of getting another one but 3 dogs is enough at the moment..

Its been done to Death now Rickardo . I suppose its Horses for courses for some people on what way they want to go! I obviousley love P/R birds but the guy next to me might prefer Imprints which is good and makes things Interesting .... This was a bit of a bundle which kicked off a while back on the Imprint vs P/R saga! I've been involved on this subject on other forums and Forums which have now finished so its easier to just cut and paste some stuff out of the archives now below.... thanks millet had him out this afternoon showed him a group of crows just sat there watching then finally decided to have a look flew over didnt show much intrest so i called him in, drove drove to some more fields where there was about 20 sittting on a grass field, i unhooded him he watch the cows in the field and the crows , then took off when round then came at them as they started to get up, he put in a little stoop and chase at one before most of the started to harass him so i called him in, ill just keep showing him corvid dont thimk it will take long for him to click..

alittle update on my 5/8 gyr/saker .ive called him goose and his been free for a few days now. coming straight back when called, and is using the winds like a pro from day one. he has stooped a pair of white pigeons on his second day,3 rd day chased a kestrel around the field but broke off as soon as i called 4th day my mate stood across a field with a dead crow and throw it in the air when he went over and bound to it, dont think im goin to have any trouble entreing him ..

ive got to say ive had 2 new 100channel marshall and am back using the luksander.. its just so reliable.. jasper does the filter make alot of difference.. and how much..

its down to the person , most peole like the break and a bird can have a good rest,after a hard season, its cant be that good to keep a bird at hunting weight all year. and you try finding a bird when its sat in a tree with all the leaves on..
