    Your right darcy Iv just come back from Scotland for a week got a trip up with tomo and vin and another trip to hotmeats and also driving to Spain to hunt boar in January some the boys around me think I'm mad but if you want good dogs your got to work them in different places and put them out of there confort zone and see how they react !! Desiel and time is cheap when compared to seeing a dog you've fed an raised doing the job intended for it and more !!

    Fuji could of done with it this week watched them hunting off into the sunset and if I didn't know the area and earths I would never of found them !! I think come in handy when checking a new area which you not exactly familiar with

    What I find amazing is how many jobs a lurcher can have given right place and right handler when thinking of all the aspects of lurcher work is a long list !!

    Skycat I watched it all from there and I could see quarry ahead of the dogs along time before they seen it !! It was the first time in a while since I been up there sort lost faith in the dogs hunting like that but it's certianly put a smile on face for a while now !!

    Aww I be having one or two tonight now haha In the summer I can hold a pretty good diet but soon as lamping starts again bam eat shit haha Thanks lads it's lovely land dogs really have to work for their catch up here

    Definatly a good deal of luck was up Scotland last week ferreting every day and lamping every night my bitch has never been pushed so hard she had to have a few rest days / and a night off she came home with a few cuts here and there but was few heart in mouth moments !!

    Well finished early enough to day to get out for a few hours before it got dark !! Two lurcher bitches and terrier in the boot and off to a place I know holds a few !! After a pissed about with a prick on a jcb blocking my way I park at the bottom and walk it different to normal thank god I did luchers out terrier had a little stomp around and back on the lead don't want that little shit going to ground where he shouldn't !!     That's why I had it done straight away so he could heal and still be fit just got him back he's fine they couldn't get him out but I went around back and he flew out

    My little lad gone in for his operation this morning to remove a lump of his testicles 250 bucks and they sending the lump off to see what it is ! Money wasn't a issue love this little shit he's a cracking busher and for a half beagle a spot on listener hope he's alright !!

    To get a true all rounder it's not just the breeding that needs to be right you have to have the right permission and game to show a dog enough of everything there's a lot of different parts of lurcher to make a all rounder even more so before the ban!! But also people have different types of day work some people think because it's a good ferreting dog does that really make it a good day dog? A good day dog to me is a dog that will mark anything to ground and stay there while your evicted what's home but will also hunt deer and fox for miles and hold a good line !! Different people want differ
