  1. If you're running her with softies, be careful...once she starts to mature she will (should!) start throwing her weight around and them Pekins cant run very fast!

  9. Thanks Richard, but im pretty sure she is some Asian Game crossbreed. Not the best photo of her but is a large bird, around 4.2 kilo..
  10. Is the black bird definatly a hen?..... Pen them up next to each other for a bit, let the other two walk around the new ones cage...could take weeks. Ive heard about the box thing aswell, but never tried it myself..
  11. True, Robs stuff has a greater reach. Either way its a bird i wouldnt kick off my yard.
  12. VERY GOOD! A great stag there, unfortunatly i think the wing carridge is wrong. In the whole, IMO, this is one of the better birds i have seen that's in the UK and if you take away the baby face even resembles RD's stuff...Tuzo?
  13. Took this before powerwashing the yard today, not really sure what she is but looking more Asil as time goes on....
  14. Very funny mate! Since it was a nice day i let the Quaker out for a bit in his travel cage...
  15. Thought id share this, sorry that shes squatting a bit - just come into lay! Cheers James
  16. Dont even know why youd bother. Thats clearly not a Sumatra...Tail carried the totally wrong way, wrong feather colour, wrong in general...right for a decent stew though, or to have around the garden i guess...
  17. Im sure ive seen these advertised as Ko Shamo...
  18. Both lacking shoulders, but have good upright stance...let em grow up a bit then post more pics!
  19. I like him...like the white beak and white legs!
  20. To my knowledge, there is a breeder down south that sells them, but purely in my opinion, they have been "manufactured" with other breeds and arent like the Yamato Gunkei of Japan or even Europe.. Ive been on the lookout for a while, but only know of one or two people with decent birds.
  21. Cracking bird Tony...a very proud looking stag, liking the shoulders too..
  22. Definatly a Ko Shamo hen...and dosnt look bad from the photo. Get one of her standing upright and proud..
  23. Its asil with ko influence - if you want a nice coloured cock as a pet with a few hens, banging, if you want a ko, cull it.
