Conkers has not been banned by schools! Another "urban myth" created by those with a little knowledge of H&S. The Health and Safety executive actually sponsored the world conker championships in Ashton (great pub at the venue!). Safety goggles were not even required ! when it snowed on friday the kids got sent home a 1.30pm as the teachers were panicing about being able to get home,we have more snow today so lets see what happens
