    Fancy hunting some mink on my local river but havnt seen one in ages. Know theres a fishery with them on so ime gunna ask them for some permission but where is the best place for them?

    Mine catch them when they stray too far from the tree when mooching about. Or just knock them out of the tree with a stone or something.

    Got a little stream near me and its full of brown trout. Dont think anyone owns or bothers with it as ive never been asked for my licence before and it used to be purple with the pollution in the past. Anyway, while fishing for perch on a pond near the river, i thought ide try the river not expecting much. But to my surprise the trout went crazy for it and ive used lures ever since. Caught some decent size ones in the past up to 3 pounds. Just wondered if anyone else uses lures or spinners for them. Cheers.

    Lad dont ruine my post ok. Im not taking foxes from you're part of the world. I take foxes with shotgun, rifle, lurcher and terrier so dont go complaining that im taking all the foxes. Im just doing my job for the farmers around my way, they are happy, i am happy and thats all that matters. On the other hand, cheers for all the POSITIVE comments lads. Its a buzz when they come in that close. But me and my mate love calling in the foxes, its the best thing about going out after them i find. Nothing better that calling them in.     Same in my area. Used to see loads of them but they started to dissapear the same time as the badgers started to come.

    I live in north west area. Used to be loads of them and i used ferret them and get 5 or 6 on a regular basis. Until they got mixie a few years back. Nearly wiped them all out but their starting to come back now.

    Good do. I miss ferreting, havnt been for ages. Used to be out every weekend with my little patterdale. Great little ferreting dog. Cant beat the thrill when the rabbit hits the net.

    I see plenty of them in my area and they use the draines more than earths. But alot of them are shot at night with the lamp.
