  6. i am feedig them dried meat soaked seems to do the job they have been fine up to now maybe not enough water from the bottle in the heat, gave them bowl of water as soon as i saw them like this hope this works as they drank a fair bit thanks for all replies.
  7. thanks lads i gave them extra water and the feed there on has been well soaked all the time, hopefully the extra water will help
  8. as above i have 10 week old kits, they have been doing fine up till yesterday they have stoped eating and become unwell looking not moveing around much. i have bred alot of ferrets and not seen them like this before. they were hyper healty well fed kits up till yesterday any advice would be welcome.

  10. well said liam you have alot more experiance than me at these trials.i am just going on what i remember as a young lad, we had plenty of private trials too and i am not puting the dogs or men down i just preferd to see them work natural shores. i have some old pics and certs here you are welcome drop in to me anytime for a look as i cant put them up here.
  11. cruel lolol have you never worked a strong dog? im sure that the badgers were not soft after getting worked a few times i reckon theyd give a good account of them selves. so do you think that the dogs at the trials didnt work? its coming across that way yes i worked many strong dogs, and the game was soft how do you think the badgers got to the trials, they were dug allready worked by dogs then left in cages all day in the heat then droped under the boards compleatly out of there natural enviorment overheated and tired. i saw dogs that did nothing under the boards then locked on to the game w

  14. i was at a few trials as a young lad and they were no test for a dog, man made shores no roots or rocks in the way and the game was allready soft, looking back now it was cruelty but they where differnt times the strong dogs did a few minutes work on soft game.
