I've a few what I would call sounders, but if you seen them you would probably think otherwise. Doesn't make them hard, they don't get pushed around and always take a grip when you break in. So they do get marked. -
You could get two rods an reels for that mate. is that shimano 6000 a baitrunner reel ? If not and your going to be mostly deadbaiting I'd strongly recommend a baitrunner reel of some sort and a 12 foot rod 2.5-3 lbs test curve. I find carp rods and reels do the same job for pike. Check out eBay and type in carp/pike combos and you'll be surprised at what you can get on there for next to nothing. Atb sham

yes lazy it was i heard about it over this side of the townone of the times it was out they dug down 3 feet an trenched in about 11 feet the farmer came down an tipped two buckets stones into the trench an said thats a great job for the drainage I know off his mates out one day a few seasons back went to a two holer, wouldnt run deeper than 3 feet max. No less than 9 holes opened up. The field was like Swiss cheese before it was all over. Work that one out !!!! That's the truth. I Wonder how much some poor c@@t got stung for that dog ????

Youngest I seen entered was an idiot that was out with us one day he dropped a black dog we question him how old it was he said 7.5 months. Couldn't believe what he was doing ???? Ended up digging the dog but on inquiries after I heard the dog didn't make a year old. That's what your up against. Could have made a decent terrier if it was held off until it was mature enough. Well never know now.

thats to close to home for himIf John Gorman wanted the dog why did he not just get it nicked from the mans yard for himself !!!! Yes it was a lethal fight Henderson definitely won the first three rounds in my eyes shogun got the last two, I'd off been gutted if shogun would have got the result !!! Henderson had very little gas left in the tank at the end but the man is ten years older than shogun so I think he done enough and deserved it. Fair play to both of them it was edge of the seat viewing all the way threw
