  7. Dought you'll find one bud, the seasons coming up in a few month I can't see anyone with half a brain partying with a good dog Atb in finding what you want
  8. This is a debaitable question that can go round ad round for along time . All his new stuf go back in breeding to al his old stuff he use to own & work, what does it matter if it's old or new ? If they work I wouldn't care if it was old stuff or new, you have to keep breeding to keep the strain on because if nuttall or any other of the big names didnt breed any of there dogs then there wouldn't be any old or new
  9. The half cross mainly ends up on the large side & too big for earth work so they get used at the end of the dig, yes you can get big & small in all litters I've been with the ones that are the right size for earth work & the ones that are not , IMO a pat is equally as game as a pitty pat, putting bull bloo into them starts to put them on the large side & then it's generation of breeding to get that right size your wanting, I may be talking a lot of s***e but this is what I've found while working & mating my dog to these bull x
  10. But can the physical benefits not be gained through any type bull terrier ?......are they not too dog aggressive ?..... through staffs to throw the pups smaller than the american cross, most will be dog aggressive even when well socialized as pups sorry mate your wrong, every one ive seen, been out with and had in my kennel for a few months for a friend were all brilliant dogs wouldnt touch another dog maybe its down to the owner I've never owned a cross mate just going off my pals dogs fair enough mate, you may be right some may be like that but the ones i no of are all

  12. i dig to one regularly very keen dog but a little on the large side , maybe abit too keen, always in a mess & in and out the sick bay throughout the season, which ended up with not as many digs as we wanted to, i also dug to the dam to this dog & this was the same she was very hands on so to speak and sadly this became her downfall and was lost to ground, i have the chance to own one out of that bitch but i wont take it on as there to large for the earths i work and would only be good for at the end of the dig
  13. correct me if i'm wrong but im sure ive read somewhere that mungrel jackrussel type terriers were the 1st terriers used for fox, then patterdales got introduced further along the line and only became more popular when the bleeper was introduces as lads that were wanting something harder could find there mute dogs in big earths as the ear to the ground didn't work.. but i could be mistaken
  14. I've dug to quite a few pitty pats & there drive is second to none IMO there too quiet & always wanting the kill, there good dogs but always in the sick bay & that's something a lot of terrier men want to avoid
