  10. out this morning at 5.00 with me pups and took a few snaps to show you all how they're coming on. Lady (the lurcher) now 20 weeks old and stands @ 20" at the shoulder. Shes a stubborn bitch and basic training has been very steady as she's got alot of grey in her , but slowly we are getting there Harvey the Ess is now 8 months and hopefully we should have a decent bushing sqaud for back end of next season. 11. a mate of mine had first cross bull / grey....its feet were huge and although it worked well it toes were always getting smashed. Personally I have always prefered a small tight foot which I feel from experience is much more resistant on rough courses.

  19. What are you veiws on having lurchers spayed??....any adverse effects in the field?? The reason I ask is currenly I own an Ess pup of round 6 months old, and a lurcher pup of 14 weeks...they live together outside in a large run / garage, which can't easily be split.......obviously at some point in the near future I am going to have the spaniel de-bollocked or the bitch spayed.....................can you imagine what would come out!!!!!!! just undecided what to do for the best................. I would be gratefull of your views on this gents........................... Th

  22. taken off the web The Silken Windhound is a medium sized, silky coated, extremely elegant sighthound. This enchanting creature is the perfect cross between a slim super athlete and a comfortable family couch potato. The Silken's clean sweeping lines and slim atheltic build gives it the speed and agility to be a true coursing dog that can tranverse over a wide variety of terrain, while at the same time their unfailing loving attitude, easy going nature and smaller size makes them the perfect pet for any family. They have shown to be very competive in conformation and sport events/acti
  23. it wouldn't look like a first cross if thats what you mean.............................obvioulsy the gene pool will be getting more & more you move away from the first cross. "better"................not really an answer for that mate......all depends what 'look' you like, and what work you are doing. Like all dogs everyone has a preference and the combinations and percentages vary so much..............I know a lad that will only have lurchers bred out of 5/8 3/8 bull x 5/8 3/8 bull x..........all of matter of opinion. Personally if I had need for a beddy wipp..then I'd g
