  3. hi bud did you get your boiler up and running mate if not you might have to bleed the oil pipe at the boiler end if i remember rightly you have to place one pipe in a canister of oil but cant remember which one bud sorry if you have the instructions this might tell you any way as you place the pipe in the canister of oil it is sucking this through as you start to bleed the system from the main tank as the filter gets full and it has to be over a certain point in the filter glass to work correctly. ALSO BUD IS THERE A RESET BUTTON ON THE BOILER OR RESET SWITCH AS IT SOUNDS LIKE ITS LOCKING O

  8. Sadly bud i agree with secretagentmole mate i dont think it would take off i lent a chap i know, an airrifle and they had taken the rifle to bits and not told me and left it half cocked when i got it back, and this is some one i know. so sending a rifle around the country mate i dont think it would work it could be costly for the lender and there might be an element of safety to bud. sad to say mate in theory good idea but in reality not good sorry mate
  9. ITS okay bud to have those sessions lol i do every time i get my rifles out its called bonding ha ha ha!!!! thats a bit pricey mate my Hunter was 260 if i remember right. the diddy ones are the best bud makes every thing you own lol bigger
  10. you lucky boy lol cant wait to see the pics
  11. Thats a real shame bud ive just googled the rifle, to have a look what they are like, they dont look to bad i dont think i would buy one though, may be they just havnt got the nack for making pcp rifles just yet, i know they make shot guns if im not mistaken this is why i bought the Hatsan 60s i thought if they can make shot guns the airrifles would be okay too. i do think though the skill in making a springer that comes from Turkey is far better than the ones that come from china. not every one agrees i know it is personal preferance, ive had a lot of airguns over the years and im reall impr
  12. Hi Kanny mate my lad is 12 bud but is not a bad shot any way, he wants to go rabbit shooting with me one day thought id try him on a less fortunate Action man to start with thought if he can take the head of this action hero he can take the well placed shot in the field bud. i know what you mean though mate i love it when my lad is taking about guns and want to see mine all the time and have a go. i think my lad was about 8 actually 7 when i took him to a game fair he was shooting HW100 the bloke told me i had a good shot in that lad there so i was well pleased, at knock down targets that is

  16. Having bought a Hatsan 60s and zerroing the opensights for 25 yards, It was my lads turn to take over shooting, after shooting 40/50 pellets through this beautiful bit of kit. I was pleased so much so with his shooting skills that he knew where to place the opensights with instructions from me. that the time had come for him to take his first head shot. Asking him are you ready son to take the most important shot a hunter will ever take he said yee dad after explaining this is a one shot count son are you sure he said yee so i decided to let him take his first head shot. resting the
  17. i bet the hatsan with gas ram is nice to shoot i am well impressed with the recoil on my springer so bet the gas ram is really quite smooth. at 30 yards mine waks out the power and places loverly divits in a pile of soil we use as backstops looking forward to rabbiting with it to be honest going upto knaresbrough next week end to sort out some rabbit problem with a friend so will take the hatsan with me too see what it can do in the field
  18. things look like they have changed now from when i wanted one this was about three fours years ago now but maybe it is diffferent up these parts i dont know, as i never got round to appliying i would still like to start my own pest control but the thing is now there is lots of guys that do it or simply get permission for nothing. i might have had a great opertunity years Ago as a friends brother owned lots of land and woods but his brother stabbed me in the back about personal family stuff so never talked to him since then but i know he had plenty of contacts that could have put me in the
  19. good comments guys thanks your right buy cheap buy twice and i dont wana touch one now lol I think i will look for a cheap second hand meteor when i get some cash. i tell you what though guys ive just bought a Hatsan 60s what a great rifle that is what do you guys think of them they are nicely made and feel real nice in the hand plenty of power too
  20. Hi guys ive heard a mix bag of comments towards these rifles, that in some cases they are dangerous and can break by the internal workings falling to bits and springs snaping, ive head of people hit in the face with the barrels as the cocking system fails to hold the barrel as you load a pellet and also fingers trapped. although they are cheap does this mean seriously bad engineeing that reflects the in the price. would you trust one of these to be used by your son or daughter while plinking with you. OR are they simply a no go ?????
  21. Just bought hatsan 60s of BEN CARMICHAEL today like to say real nice guy to deal with cheers Ben the rifle is spot on mate, cheers buddy Regards, Openseason the hatsan is a really nice rifle to hold and use well impressed with the quality of the gun it shoots perfectly and has the power i need to knock down rabbits, in my opinion a rifle that might be knocked in todays market of guns but to me its a brilliant rifle and the recoil is spot on. great looking gun works well shoots well feels good im pleased to add this to my hunting package.
  22. ThatS WIERD mate aint it on the same farm too ive only ever seen it once this was about 20 years or so ago wish id kept the skull to show people. what is a recessive gene Duncan mate
  23. I wanted to know if any one else has come accross this in the past i was out shooting years ago and came accross a skeleton of a dead rabbit as i looked at the skull the rabbits bottom teeth had grown to curl over the rabbits fore head they was about 2 and a half inches long. i wondered if the rabbit had died of starvation due to the length of its teeth.
