    1st night out tonight with new dog hes 12 months old rabbits were a jumpy enough well lamped he got a run on 4 rabbits caught 4 hes doing one or two circles around me showing off with the rabbit just need to do a small amount of work on the retrieve side of things but am very pleased to say the least

    just an idea lads if we could get some sort of list of what was robbed breeds etc pics as reading though all these threads they might not be spotted is it lurchers terriers etc etc

    collie x hound had one took every quarry going apart from deer never tried him on them

    used a lot in the racing pigeon game for keeping the gut acidic and some people put it in the bath also they say it keeps ticks etc off there birds

    im a mod on a large forum same format as this one the report button is so handy for mods we always say that every member is a moderator by hitting the report button just that a few have the button that removes the thread there is no way a mods can keep an eye on every post lads

    asked the same question last week i think have a look back though posts most people have said a bit of rope and to be honest that what i allways done and think ill be keeping my money in my pocket

    also seen the same guys selling lots of dogs on trade websites picking them up from dog homes on the cheap then selling them on for few 100 bob on trade websites

    if your wanting a dog to do both day and night i would say wait till hes at least 12 months old do all the day hunting you can with him then about 15 or 16 months old introduce the lamp its a lot easier to take a day hunting dog lamping then the other way round

    i wouldn't do a thing till hes 12 months old mate he will just do your head in you can start obedience training geting him to heel sit etc even introducing the ferret can be done now the saying good things come to those who wait is so true

    would not even show it a rabbit till its 12 months old and would not lamp it till its 15 months old i like to give a dog lots of day hunting before its lamped

    hunting two dogs at the one time can cause this at times
