I started fishing when I was 6 and joined a youth club fishing team we fished every second weekend all year, mostly rainbow and brown trout fishing but we had the odd sea fishing trip. I also joined a sea fishing club when I was about 10 then I used to fish the shore and boat compititions. There was a few of us used to go camping during the school holidays to get away for all the drugs and fighting, we lived off the land and out the sea/river/loch or whatever was close enough to poach a few of the lads had lurchers/ferrets/air rifles/nets. The only thing we bought was drink. All t

My mate that I used to work with was given a diary from his grand father about his father when he was a keeper on the estate we were working on in the 1900. Amazing what the killed in those days and funny things as well there was a note about shooting a cormerant that tried to swallow a 8lb salmon. Wild cats were also noted then in that area. Regards highlander.

Funny you say that jasper my mate is a supplier and fitter of chips and he fitted one to his 3.0 td Navara and the fuel consumption is better not worse thats one of the reasons Im getting one as I have looked in to it in great detail as I will be £360 out of pocket but for more pulling power and better fuel econemy for £360 I will get my money back. The reason the fuel econemy is better is because the engine is not labouring and is running at lower revs to achive the normal speeds. Dont buy a cheap chip as they arnt as good get one that remaps the computer theyre more expensive but are bette

f*****g hell mate aint see a clabby in a good few years where did you get them mate? I know you wont be able to specifi but a rough idea as I used to get them in the firth of clyde. Best way to eatem is straight out the water and on to a fire on the beach. Regards highlander.

In the summer I feed chudleys working crunch and the odd rabbit or scarps if I have them, butI do feed bones once a week. The once the Stags start in about August I get all the offal and bones out the local estate larders a couple of bottles of whisky keeps me in dog food all winter till about febuary then back on to the biscuts. Regards highlander.

The thing I had the problem with was moving from a SWB Trooper to a Crew cab pick up I could accellerate out of roundabouts and corners nobother in the Trooper the only time I had it kick out on me was on and icy road when I was on my way shooting. But the Ranger is a different kettle of fish its fine pulling a trailor or with weight in the back but on its own it was a night mare till I fitter the BF's. Putting weight in the back shell will work but it will drink more fuel. In the process of getting it Super chipped then I will tell you how good the BF's are. Regards highlander.

I would have been a bit pissed off I could see the point if it was being auctioned for a reason but not for personal gain thats sh*te. I would be willing to buy a badge from you and you could put the procceeds to SAC's. Regards highlander.

What tyres are on it shell? I just got a Ford ranger pick up and it was leathal coming off round abouts nearly smashed it twice on my way home from getting it. If there had been other cars Id have been F*cked. Since I put the BF Goodrich on it I aint had a single problem. Regards highlander.

There are hundreds off the little f*ckers up here. I hate pulling spines out the dogs nose. Had one in a release pen got the bugger in the live cage he had killed a few birds in the first few nights. Then I got his mate and the rest of the gang I had 10 in a week at the same pen inside and out. Regards highlander.

Well I guess the dinner is in the dog and you aint home late from the pup. Regards highlander

What a shame my thoughts go out to his family. I have a lamp in the roof of my truck so its quiet handy for chasing stuff down. Regards highlander.

I looked at a set of them bino's watchmaker just to have them for in the truck. I have a set of Swarosvki 8.5 x 42 EL they are the dogs danglies had them since they first came out. Optics these days are cheaper and better quality but I think you get what you pay for. I got this new job and was given a set of Opticron 8 x 32 that are complete sh*te but then might just be me after looking through Swarosvki optics for so long. Regards highlander.

Bf goodrich are the best way to go if you want a trye that will last. My boss dose 30000 miles a year and usually changes them every winter. My last set on my truck were 4 years old when I sold the truck and I had done 30000 plus and still good bit of tread. I just got new BF's for my Ford Ranger got them at £75 quid a corner fitted and ballanced but that was his last set he could do at that price. Every were else was £ + vat and fitting. Regards highlander.
