  8. small for the type work you bred him for,not saying it ain't got it in him but regular nights on them through out season big ask,or not?
  9. Under 21 only gaff get that pic off, seen enough pics your pups to last me a life time lol
  10. not something you tend to hear a lot of these days, someone actually travelling distance for their needs, when its what your wanting you just got go for it fair play
  11. Yes mate iv often thought of a whirrier type myself cheers
  12. like that a lot mate does look the part, got some coat on it,cheers To be honest, her coat looks the part, but in reallity its crap. No undercoat, balls up in snow and brings back every bit of undergrowth she runs through. if you want a good coat on a dog to shed off the worst the land can throw at it, this one fits the bill very much like little bitch i had, certainly showed me a thing or two for a little un
  13. its all in the wording as you said.....great fun......and thats what im wanting my lad to get out of it,nothing serious i got a lurcher 25tts and busher so just something in between to fit in and give my lad that thrill when out and about cheers
  14. il admit iv knocked the beddy types in the past purely on the few iv seen, it was likely to be the owners and the way they bought them up and entered them at fault rather than the dogs themselves,we definately wanting something old school rough coat type, nice pair
  15. same here bit grey for a few mins and that was that, total anti climax lol
  16. like that a lot mate does look the part, got some coat on it,cheers
  17. lets see some pics lads of your smaller types and how they bred,beddy/whip im guessing quite common seen pics of a few whip/collie that look handy enough as well,i do like the idea of a straight whippet but want something a bit more robust shall we say, even the price of them frightens me lol had a little saluki/grey collie whip myself few year ago 21tts but lost her unfortunately on a night out, seen very few of this type although know few lads got them. so im thinking ahead and may well be looking at getting my lad a nice small type for when we out bushing, something quick off the mark
  18. sounds like she keeps you fit lol,not sure i could be doing with finding mine 4/5 miles away,iv lost mine couple times when he taken off in hot pursuit but soon as hes been out run and lost site of it he as you say comes straight back and starts off again
  19. i managed to pick up a couple ferrets few months ago and he doesnt seem to show much interest in them around the hutches so may well be fine with proper introduction,i was told he not seen any previous but who knows although in the field no matter the size anything is fair game to him.
  20. fair play mate must be nice to know you can rely on the dog for a definite mark, hope to myself in the future just got get him broke to ferrets and we will be away cheers
  21. not me rex amount dogs you running you must have most yorkshire wrapped up on your permission slips lol
  22. never had this lad from a pup so missed a trick getting him out ferreting as a youngster so that's one thing i got lined up for him in the future. iv generally discouraged him from holes not wanting him to drop in where he shouldn't but just lately he started marking rabbit holes which is good. he certainly been a bit of a ball ache at times with recall but we getting our act together now and i cant fault his working ability which makes our daily walks lot more enjoyable than when i first got him lol. his mark isn't always quite as obvious as i would expect, its not head down hole tail
