    I've two young dogs here both undershot one is now cured the other it won't be long both parents great mouths wouldn't bother me one bit it's nice for the mouth to be perfect but a bit of graft soon sorts the problem out I breed for work looks is un important they'll never see a show class and to be honest I judged a hunt show as a favour last year and picked a dog with as some would say a bad mouth over a show pony as it looked to have seen a bit of graft

    It's all down to the standard of the man who owns the dog the one hour wonder dog to some are all they require but to a committed digging man they wouldn't waste feeding the same dog there put down in my opinion if your committed your standards are higher than once a month Joe

    Tried allsorts mate now stick with cheap primart or asda combats I'm forever riving the balls out on the wire fence found the cords cheap as chips quick drying and well wearing only thing I will pay for these days Is a good coat and boots and use a pair of musto chaps they've lasted a good give seasons now

    fatman i aggree a good dig that lasts the day is whats its all about but with the collars of today and a good team of digging men you can soon shift some muck and that is on educated game i understand your no mug and more than likely have anything in your kennel that is either i like you enjoy digging everything is released if at all possible and the dogs are tested there is no free ride here in my pens but we are getting away from the subject even with a collar a dog can be in the ground all day some times more single handedly years ago they were doubled up when worked without a collar the qu

    READ THE POSTS.How could we have better quality because of the technology when a dog is located in five minutes. maybe so but to waste a full day on locating a dog and then digging him out equals one dog one dig th elocator now gives the chance for multiple digs in a day therefore the dogs are getting more game and in my eyes better tested the so called heroic old time digging men where nine times out of ten digging multiple dogs FACT

    this question was asked regarding terrier quality in passing the other week to a group of well respected terriermen and all of them stated the terriers of today are of better standard but a totaly different animal Earth you made a comment regarding shows spoiling terriers yes in some ways i agree but to a true working man a show is nothing but a chance to have the craic anyone who has decent dogs would need there heads testing to parade good workers for all to see and follow home

    never saw the vid but id say it is great proof that hunting is far humane than shooting full stop and they ban hunting believe me folks shooting foxes will soon be on there list to ban a fox will suffer a lot longer than it would with the dog

    I've a pair here four seasons digging and hunting hounds ready to be replaced this season never been cleaned or polished only thing wrong Is there soles now slick they are cracked and ragged but still waterproof top boot these were worn daily and still are and hunted all weekend well worth the spend meindle not a patch I've had them previous they didn't last any were near I had three set Of them I was a big fan till I tried the lowa military.com

    Fair play to you jimmy and with our young ens providing the local entertainment for the satrday night I'm glad it turned out as good as it did just a shame we didn't get a good few pints in always next time I suppose
