    Reading is good for the brain and if you enjoy reading why not read books on subjects you personally enjoy mind you I believe Peter and Jane is a good read and will help with some of the spelling posted by sumfink or ovva on ere innit

    Another thing for thought is a lad who keeps just a few due to kennel space could be a lot harder on dogs as there taking space up a lot of hunt lads a five minute wonder on a hunting day is ideal a mate of mine in hunt service will always have a couple of these about for un diggable spots a five minute wonder will sometimes stir them up enough for a bolt

    youve obviously not been out with stan then to make them kind of comments lol lol Stans a jacker it's well known I personally know two decent lads who seen it with there own eyes and one used the dog to line a bitch and was so sick all the pups were done away with

    Trust is a big factor in the dog game you'll trust lads and they'll trust you I like most have been stiffed by the odd so called terrierman that is all over you like a rash then no where to be seen when push comes to shove I dig permanently with one lad we have two sets of kennels full of the same gear there us a couple more lads among us that have the same gear and I've a handful of good friends in ireland that we visit every year who we trade pups with this to us us enough these days I did take a young kid along once but he let us down shame really but that's life when I was a kid I was as

    I feed fallen stock and in order to obtain a licence it has to be prepared and stored in a separate place away from human food and also labled not fit for human consumption your tripe will of come from beasts culled for eating but there's a good chance the meat isn't and you would never no How it died better safe than sorry mate especially if kids are involved

    Make sure the dogs got plenty of fresh water and gets plenty of decent food and some steady exercise nothing to severe get him fit I'd steer well clear of running any dog this time of year as not only does the ground have potential to case real damage to his limbs but the heat will soon blow a dog up this time of year a dog should be having the sun on his back relaxing not long before the season starts won't be much crack if your dogs lame give him a week or two gentle exercise and decent grub if he isn't any better get him to a vet leave the game to rest then there will be Plenty about come

    And sadly the word money rears it head yet again true working dog men arnt interested in that but more and more are I aggree once over terriers of a higher calibre were an easy thing to find now the lads that have them keep them between themselves and friends and no amount if money would make then part with one

    Cant get my head round one comment on this post that if you can't tell difference between an eagle or an owl you shouldnt be shooting why not he wouldn't be shooting at them no matter what birds of prey they where he has asked a sensible question looking for sensible answers keep us posted mate and what they turn out to be

    I'm out every weekend from four in the morning come the season I make trips to ireland once a year and have also other invite up and down the country like already stated it isn't hard to clock the numbers up if you put the effort in I do thousands of miles every season in pursuit of my passion Working terriers and if anyone else doss then they will get the results same as but to get the results you need the terriers because with a lot of work comes sore dogs so plenty of reserves needed we like to take at least six dogs sometimes eight every day out dependent on where we are going

    One thing to remember lads without the hard terrier there would he pretty soon NO terriers to breed time after time yapper to yapper is a certainty to lead to disaster within your line
