  1. But if the deer are causing damage to the land does this make any differance?
  2. Not sure about ireland but in n.ireland its much easier to get a large rifle with a dsc1, and for shooting you can join a gun club or get permission from a land owner.
  3. If you have a document signed by the farmer would this make any differance or would the club with the shooting rights have the right to shoot there.
  4. I need to know a question that i can't get an answer to. If you have permission from a land owner to shot deer, but there is gun club with the shooting rights can they stop you from shooting deer even if you have permission from the land owner. Maybe its different for every shooting estate? Thanks for your time.

  6. I use an electric caller but on damp or wets nights i use a squeaky toy.
  7. Here is a shooting stick that I use myself, very basic but very effective. Its made from two hazel shanks, there not fully straight but are perfect for the job. Nothing fancy just a straight forward shooting stick. The joint is just a simple cable tie very strong i have been using mine for a year or so and hasn't broke yet.

  9. Depending on the night the later the better 11 - 12, for a frost night an early nights lamping would prove better.
  10. I’m starting to do a bit or duck shooting so what is a good way of getting started, I was thinking of decoys but they are a bit expensive so would duck caller be any good on its own without any decoys. If i was to get a caller where do you start to call the ducks? Thanks

  12. I'am looking for any calls for hunting, mainly duck,crow or deers calls, second hand or new calls are fine. Thanks.
  13. Thanks for the responses; anything is easier than digging a 1m deep hole.
  14. Hi, I'am looking for another way of deposing of the deer skin and head after skinning, i know you have to dig a 1m deep hole and cover it over, but is there any other way, can you leave the hole open and fence around it? Thanks for your time.
