    to cut long story short just moved east cork went fishing for mackerel this evening in ballycotton caught a dozen cut one up as bait put it on size 1/0 hook caught a dogfish and then to my suprise a 4ft conger, tried to lead it around pier to the steps to unhook but it snapped the hook off,just wondering if theres anyone on here that has fished for conger from shore especially from ballycotton if so what rigs hooksize breaking strain etc you use atb

    great thread guys,at the moment i have a collie based lurcher for ferreting bushing etc and bull x for d lamp thats not saying that they wont do both it just works for me as someone already said horses for courses atb

    im living in midelton ill try 2 get a pic of d pup up in a wile,i was at the clondulane show was with a guy who had a hancock lurcher i had d pup with me there i know a few people who hunt with the cork nationals might ask them thanks for the replys anyway atb
