Iv been watching loads of vids on utube about big cats in England Now some of the vids are quite convincing but you would think if any one was going to come across one it would be us lot out hunting at night or in day light we are out most nights and days But in all the days iv been out shooting iv never come across one or any thing near it Mind if I did I would not stand and video it on my phone with a air rifle on my back even if it was a 243 I'd be off lol Your thoughts on it or have you seen anything like it Atvbjimmy

Well took my grandson to the range I gave him the fx verminator 177 to shoot then he shot the mortal at which he only put two mags thro it before he jammed one in the barrel So that was out of action lol Then the hw100 but as he is a lefty and the 100 having a cs500 custom right handed stock could not shoot it but I'll give him his dues he tryed and even shot it right handed Then it was the raiders turn well he was as happy as Larry with it lol Hitting every thing one of the lads even put a exploding target out for him u should of seen the smile on his face when he hit it

Just sat doing nout Phil so it will be a nice rifle for him to learn with Going to take him to the shooting range soon so hopefully by the end of the day he will no what to do And how to load a mag Use the scopes and mill dots And shoot lol But will be stuck on the range for a few months yet lol Atvbjimmy And I no u get first refusal on the rifle lol

Well iv been looking for a rifle for my grand son for Xmas for a while now even put my kral Dazzel up for sale Now he is the same age as little hunter was when he started But he is a small lad we all are or were when we were 8rys old but we all shoot up in hight pritty quick lol Any way was going to get him a bull pup then a springer naaaa a bullpup Any way I needed a rifle that would fit him he is a lefty so choice was limited Then I thought iv got a rifle that will fit him in the cabinet Yes that will do him just fine Now you lads that no me will no h

Removed all the Bluing and treated it with oil lots of oil had the rifle for over a year now and not a sign of rust mind I did rub the shit out of it With autosol to give it a right good shine I like it was going to reblue it as the rifle was a gift off a very good friend off this forum And it had been stripped back on some places Atvbjimmy

Thanks lads he will be at the range for a good while be for I take him to the farm just as we did with ethan If I had my way I'd give him the 97k And be done with it lol But the rifle is nearly as big as him lol And I don't think he could pic it up let alone shoulder it May look into a hw100 bp for him And change it as he gets older Decisions decisions Atvbjimmy -

Well the stock had a mark on it So thought feck it I'll do the stock Now this mark was marked off putting it in the cabinet Any way here it is in all its glory Got to say I do like this rifle Atvbjimmy

It is mitch but it's very ruff finished From the factory And the cut out where the action sits is even worse But it's one hell of an accurate rifle Mind Only one left to do now and that's my hw97 but can't bring myself to do it lol Errrr we will not say out about the big hole in the kral stock mitch

Well took the jumbo out of the cabinet and yes another walnut stock that was very very dry Even thro I put loads of oil on it Mind got to say the stock had not been finished very well At all so smoothed it all back And this time I applied a different oil to it not tru oil that I allways use I gave it one coat of tru oil then when dry 0000 wire wooled it back a touch and applyd the saturn finished oil applyd with my fingers What a difference it has made to this rifle Can't put vids on here so I'll get a pic later Sorry lads one coat of walnut stain

As some of you will no iv done the hw100 stock but it dried Dry looking so thought feck it Stripped the stock off and tru oild it So it's a walnut stock with tru oil on it it's got a good few coats on it But looks stunning Atvbjimmy

100 percent agree with you mark it's a rifle that never let's you down Beats all the fx models hands down And the rest unless it's fac But in sub 12 it's up there with the rest or one step above the rest Just can't believe I waited that long to get another mark Atvbjimmy -

Now the raider stock took a bit of sorting out In the end I had to leave it sitting in the sun where the acid would weep out of it and when it was nearly all out as I had already prepped it I tru oil, d it O and its a walnut stock Now the action was not as easy to sort out lol Wish I new how to put vids on here as the stock is stunning Atvbjimmy
