something defo scraping on mine in big ruts , how easy are they to lift couple of inches and fit larger wheels? but nothing to monster truck just need bit more clearance due to the large ruts I encounter at times .

yes your right I remmber when I was kid just after the war ,dogs would have to lay down on bare hard floors kept out side in leaky stables or shelters now my dogs are kept in lap of luxury heated kernels soft beds plenty of grub your right how times have changed !

To me a dog is a tool for a job nothing more nothing less , like a 4x4 is tool but always treated with respect and admired . The point iam making for me I could own a dog for years and selling him and not think twice , wonder how many lads can do the same . Or do you find it hard to get sell there dogs . I have new l200 while out this evening went up some ruts and and was scrapping the underside anyone recomend any underground protection or should I get it lifted but don't want a monster truck style with bad road manners .

What you planning to do we him would be good starting point and what terrian you expect him to work ,then you will have better idea what you want as it's hard to try to adapt the wrong breeding to suit as you can't fight nature .

There has been few threads on here about dog prices , also about dog peddelers etc , but I have owned and breed pups not with mind of making money but to breed a line that's suits my work, and sold pups to other like mind folk for work and sometimes even sold to homes for pets . And to be honest always cost more than I made but not in for money or I find another hobby , but although I could buy a dog and use him for few months even year I could sell him and buy something else maybe just to bring him or her on and enjoy watch a young dog learn and although I treat them well and also get a good

Prob is you got Idiots paying huge somes of money for dogs I wouldn't pay 2 pence for. dog only worth as much as someone willing to pay , look at some of these fens Dogs that run on flat fields like your garden lawn going for silly money or these Hancock dogs , just folk looking to make a quick buck simples . I posted a topic about friend called bert , who was getting hassle from a young teacher who was new to village regarding hunting , it now turns out she was seen by keeper in nearby woods where she has been walking her dog tampering with some of his traps and has even damaged a few and is going to be reported for this . So I like to be a fly on her wall when she's gets a knock !!! These people don't realise that trapping of vermin like grey squirels etc is done for conservation not for the sake of it and needs to educated her self with the true facts of hunting and the law !!!

Iam unsure as there's no tresspass here in scotland. But think he is going to get prices for cctv to get installed as he's a bit worried about her maybe doing something to the dogs whiles he's not there . As his gun dog lab had nine pups three weeks ago and plans to bring one or two of them on so be few young dogs around the place .
