  4. thanks everyone! i don't think anyone expected the little thing to have it in her, especially not my cousin who i got her from! update - the big dog is now catching & semi-stunning rats, then giving them to the small dog to finish off. i think he's decided it's time someone else gets bitten
  5. god there's some utter f*cktards on this site!
  6. poor little Lady. my thoughts are with all concerned. lost our tiny russell cross bitch on thursday, didn't come out of the kennel in the morning when me & dad let the dogs out... at least she went the right way, at 14 years old, quietly & with no vets involved. poor little lady, she'll leave a huge hole in everyones hearts. x
  7. just showed that to my mum, we were both in tears laughing at it!
  8. one day his missus will wake up next to him, dead, and she won't notice! how did no one spot he was turning blue?! feck me, when people start asking you "are you warm enough?" all the time, and offering to turn the heating up, you might start to wonder if something was a bit wrong? shouldn't laugh, but it is a bit funny. i've always found the word "smurf" amusing anyways. little blue skivers...
  9. i made that pic, and it still makes me giggle every time i see it!
  10. i thought that to, weapons smugglers must of brought them in wouldn't fancy smuggling a hedgehog - especially if you smuggle 'em like drugs!

  13. well chuffed with the fuzzy wee thing, especially as it was only the third rat she'd ever seen... and it was 20 minutes after she'd seen her first! i took her & the big dog out on one of my cousins fields that was down to beet last year. the rats are still living the high life on little self-seeded beets! all over the field are little pop holes, where the rats are digging up beets & hiding when danger threatens. first i let the dogs have a run up the ditch, and they just missed one fat rat dissappearing into a hole. we walked out into the field, looking for occupied holes. i let the
  14. it's a fake, i mean, would you want to walk that fecker?!? although i used to work with a lad who really wanted a neopolitan mastiff, because "it'd be so cool to have a dog the size of a pony!". now, one of my cousins has a neo, and i've seen a few, but i couldn't think of one i'd ever seen that big. after much grilling on where he got the notion of Neo's being pony-sized, he turned up at work with a printout of that pic... and refused to believe it was a fake!
  15. my cousins tiny yorkie x russell is in pup to my dads 5/8 russell 3/8 spaniel... them's gonna be some odd-looking pups!
  16. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=45261 i'm going next weekend. i should think it'll be a bit quiet there this weekend!
  17. got this little scruffy thing from my cousin, she was a stray & we think she's a yorkie x russell. i've had her a few weeks, & she's loving her new life. she's not a really tiny type, but she squeezes through bramble patches most rabbits would struggle with. she's really obediant, and has stamina by the bucketload. after a 5 mile off-lead walk (so the dogs probably covered more like 7 miles) she ran behind the lurcher all the way round a 30 acre field, him cantering her running, she kept up with him, got back to me, dragged me home, and was still bouncing to go out for another walk.

    what a sin

i'll have to remember the trick in the second one, that was class! the kid in this one goes apeshit... i agree, it's pretty cruel, but i bet the parents didn't expect this reaction... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NBF2NmAoB_0&NR=1
  19. they were bred after a long-running arugement on chat - no one believed that a cat could catch a full grown rabbit. i've known several moggies that could, and the kittens mum was just starting to bring back young rabbits when i had to move back to my parents house & put the cats into a cattery. i bred my first-class ratter with a semi-feral Maine Coon cross. he lived in the woods up the road from me, you'd often see him wandering across the road dragging a still-flapping pheasant along. the kittens were born while i was on holiday & a mate was looking after them... the dog got the fi
  20. i'll have to photoshop some pics of my black kittens, flog 'em to the Sun & make a quid or two - everyone who sees them comments on the fact they look like mini-panthers. the tom, Chunk, is fecking huge, i'll have to take him out & video him in some long-ish grass, maybe with a baby rabbit in his gob, walking past a bonsai tree.... this is Muff, the smaller of the two. she's easier to photograph!
  21. Just to say, Bengal, Ashera and Savannah Cats are all "domestic" ... ...Its very likely, that many of this "type" have escaped and indeed do live as wild Cats. ditch, the breeds dawn mentions are not genuine "wild" cats, they are designer hybrids, created by crossing domestic breeds to wild breeds, and are fairly common as pets in the UK now. there were 2 litters of Bengals in the local Ad Trader this week, one week there were ten. being so heavily based on wild species, they will revert to a wild state quicker than a domestic breed, and be more reluctant to return to a home s
  22. depends how much you earn! Then folk should keep as many dogs as they can do the best for.........as in, £5 for 2 dogs and £2.50 for 1..........thats less than most of this bagged shite Ossie. + the 50-odd quid for my own secondhand freezer to store the food in, + 600 quid a month for the house to store the freezer in... i live with my parents, dog food does not belong in with human food, apparently!
