    Pmsl I love it this is the best post on this site My uncle had a problem with a cat across the road ripping his bins open so he starved his 5 ferrets for a week and threw the cat in two days later took only the collar out

    Me being only 22 is still by far young but with 2 kids mortage and a girlfriend so demanding iv had no choice but to grow up fast im no a taxi driver which takes up some hours but still find a couple nights a week to go lamping (not so much since season fin) but even if its just mooching about with dogs i much perfer that than getting lashed up nowdays ( anything to get out house haha) but finding lads my way that are into digging is like finding rocking horse sh*t. I no 1 guy but he has moved away so there goes my chance off tagging along haha. But if anyone wants to give a invite for a day

    They are to shy iv tried as soon as u put lamp on ther gone I would sit there all night with 2.2 but even with lamp on gun with a filter the smallest bit of light they straight to ground

    Breeding any dog before it's 3 just puts it's body under to much stress it's like a child getting up duff IMO. You don't want to anyway mate my lab ended up having 11 and with 4 inverted nipples we had to hand rear them not fun times 2 weeks with no sleep to make sure we didn't lose 1. Never will I breed a dog again leave it to the people that know what they doing much cleaner that way aswell lol Atb

    Is the best way to set a live trap a friend of mine is trying to set them along the fence line there are hundreds in the field but had no luck after a week or so of them being down tried carrots mixed veg but they don't seem to taking it any ideas what he doin wrong or not doing at all Atb

    She's a cracker mate she is the double of mine how old was she in the 2nd pic how is she at work mate 2nd pic was about nine years ago.Sadly she dead now. atb. Work wise.Average. She was no fighter.but would bay lile f--k. Sorry mate was that just old age or did u lose her at work.     Your so right mate it seems that on this site they all pros and never made a mistake or a moment when they glad that it was dark and nobody saw what they thought was quarry and slipped on was infact there neighbours cat haha (example). Fair play to the guys that have commented on this thread after all it's the hunting life not the serious life. Fcuk ups and mistakes can't be learned from if they don't happen in the first place Atb

    I just thought she won't grow that much more being 7 months she is 6in tts I'm just hoping that she fills out a bit more is there anything I could do ie change her diet supplements to give her a bit of a spert.     What is the smallest dog u have used to dig with I ask because I brought a patt x jrt bitch she is now 7 months and still tiny if I had never seen her parents myself I would say she was a_Chihuahua honestly the amount of people that has asked me why have I brought a Chihuahua she is a cracking dog and is game as fcuk she shows so much interest I just don't think she gonna grow anymore at the she weighs 3.9 kgs. I think she is purely gonna b a ratter which is a shame and it anoys me everytime I think about it. Just wondered how small of a dog have u dug with I'll try and get some pics of her up

    Louis Read the thread properly my dog wernt outa control he did what was intended which was buy me some time to get the hell outa there like I said we had walked that field a hundred times before and had no problem. As for a smaller dog I have a whippet/collie/grey too so that pissed on your fire.     Dog been to the vets he gonna b ok no serious damage bit of a dent in my pocket but at least he gonna be fine. I've also been to see the owner of the horses the horse is also fine no deep wounds I took her a bottle of wine to appologise. She said it's not just me that this has happend to it attacked another dog last week she couldn't say sorry enough either the horse has to rehomed now as it a footpath running through and she has nowhere else to keep it away from thepublic.     He is fine in himself and it dint stop him running around like a looney for the rest of the day that's y I wernt sure if the coughing had anything to do with it and as for the permission to b in there it's a public footpath that runs through field and like I said I walked that field many times before that's why I can't understand y they charged me this time

    Hello mate I live in Grantham and would like to come for a day out with u I have alot of ferreting permission a bit of lamping permission but sadly not alot of shooting permission iv got a good whippet x if u fancied abit of long netting he good with the ferrets give us a shout if u interested also got a bull x if u fancied a night lamping cheers
