  1. Kev if you come to the MGF on Saturday we can have a chat about it then, hopefully you can make it over! Phil
  2. When making .25 FAC, I have seen one shooting at 48ft/lbs, shooting 31 grain Barracudas with a flatter trajectory than a .177 at 12FPE. With a residual energy of 18FPE at 100yards. In a word, devastating. I'm glad you like it Si, and thank you for the honest review, hopefully we can break some of the "myths" that surround the bigger bore and show people what i0'ts really capable of! Kev, your Stealth is one of the first on my list, and a very interesting project it will be too! I've got a few mods planned for her, a little bit experimental, but I'm confident they will work like a dr
  3. BSA are releasing 8 shot .25 magazines for their SE, they will be a straight swap for a standard mag. But for now it will have to be a S/S mag.
  4. Looks like I've got my first candidate for a .25 R-10 then! 250shots per fill anyone? Or 350 with a 280cc bottle
  5. As above Note, comes with old style mag only, it is not drilled for studs, the bipod was only used to hold the gun for the photos. Some very slights marks, PM me your email and I'll send you a few photos!! Paypal or cash on collection, can do bank transfer, looking for £350 collected or £370 posted next day delivery. Any questions, ask away Phil
  6. Hilarious the bunch of ya! You sure you don't want this R-10 back Shay?
  7. No the guage was fine, I don't know what it was, but I gave it a full strip and cleaned up the internals, lubed her up in all the right places and put it back together and now it's fine!
  8. Great shooting again there mate! Thats one awesome looking gun too, I won't mention the loverly looking fwuffy wabbit lol Why BSA don't make these carbine T-10s is beyond me! They're perfect little hunting rifles! Phil
  9. .177 for bunnies, .25 for everything else, (and bunnies occasionally!)
  10. I Tony, I recently did a full 230bar fill from a mk2 I had, .177, shooting a steady 11.4, got 190 shots before the power dropped off, got 10fps variation over the fill. Personally I was very happy with this performance from a totally standard gun!
  11. Some great shooting there guys! Very nice looking guns too!!
  12. Get a gun you have a use for! (I've made that mistake, had 18 guns at one point) But get a gun that you like, theres no point in going on anyone elses recommendations, if you like it in your shoulder and its fits your needs then get it! not much point in having a HW100T with a HW silencer if you're shooting from a Landy, you'd be much better off with an Ultra. Draw up a list of your needs and pick a gun to suit, then you'll not be dissapointed. but as SAM says, the French limit is 7J god knows why you're going to France to buy a gun but I hope you have a good trip! Bon! Ph
  13. Brilliant shooting mate! And hope all goes well today Shay!
  14. Well nobodys seen your mug on ANY forum.... as far as we know...
  15. I'll be going, it's a great show if you like all aspects of outdoor life, its the one day of the year I get to immerse myself in the outdoors. If you go just for the airguns you'll be dissapointed, but if you go and look round it all it'll be one of the best days in your shooting year...... guaranteed!
  16. Yeah I know mate, I wanna get out!!!!!
  17. Eh? I'm not sure I want to know about your dietry habbits SAM! haha And Yes its on the "other one"
  18. My 2 new guns that I built up today, Tactical .177 Scultra uses an Ultra res and barrel, making it a Scoprion carbine I suppose!? Weighs in at just over 2.2 kg, so a full kilo lighter than my R-10. .22 Bultra -- B for bigger and the bullbarrel using the res and barrel from the Scorpion. Hope you like! Soon to be availible in .25!
  19. only when you're behind the camera!
  20. Hi Mate, is it a bit of a beast! I bet it's heavy isnt it?? Zeroing a scope is easy, first make sure you've got all the mounts nice and secure to the gun and to the scope, and some pellets the gun likes, its hard trying to zero on a 3" group at 25yards! Make sure youve got a steady hold and can shoot from a stable position, zeroing whilst standing for example is not a great idea, off a bipod is preferred! Aim at a piece of paper with a mark on, I use a big cross so I have a refrence for my crosshairs, shoot a pellet with your crosshairs on the mark and see where the pellet lands, i
