    In the main that really is not true, yes you have had idiots over the years running dogs which are not up to the job on bigger species and caused suffering, but no more than some of the stalkers/shooters who don't have a clue with miss placed shots and leaving runners out to die a miserable slow death.     I have been following this debate with interest and healthy discussion and differences of opinions are always going to exist, especially on such a heated topic such as this, I have to admit I havent witnessed personally organised deer hounds where they run down to exhaustion an animal such as those that were deployed on Exmoor and Dartmoor etc, obviously before the ban. It appeared to me in the films and videos at the time of these hunts that these animals did suffer in some cases after being brought down the pack would rip out the animals throat and other areas of the beast. in my

    I agree its disgusting obviously not a sportsman in any way shape or form, anyone who does not respect their quarry by not taking positive actions in using the correct equipment is guilty of extreme cruelty, such actions as you describe can only be regarded as being the actions carried out by person or persons of little knowledge or care, any normal human being would be aware that we have a duty when dispatching the life of any animal we take into account our actions and consequences if not carried out in an acceptable way.

    If your going to carry out the repair yourself Secret pin it with bronze dowels and use this glue which is what a professional would use and clamp it hard in a wood faced vice for a period of 3 days in a warm room make sure you have a film of plastic sheet between the vice jaws and the stock or you will never release it from the vice , if you take your time and treat the surfaces with the re acting hardner before applying the glue and you would not even know it had been smashed if you clean it of carefully and polish it back to its original finish.     Having read all the replies to the original post, if I was a novice and made the post and read all the replies I would scraping brown matter of my strides, the guy was asking for advice on an intended Lee equipment purchase. In a simple answer to that question Yes it will do the job. If he had asked are there better options on purchase to do the job the answer to that is also Yes If he wanted to know what other options were available he would have come back with the question, He certainly would not have wished as a novice shooter or reloader to have an ultimate lecture in ballistics

    That contraption there looks a bit like that high seat that you aquired for a short time of Rodger you didnt tell the judge further porkies that I had it did you. It wouldn't surprise me if you had though.
