  1. Sorry if my post came across as critical Mars, it certainly wasn't meant that way its a cross i'd have again IF i had the work for it. The parents are crackers and the b&t bitch pup catches my eye though they all look well...
  2. She looks a cracker mate, though when i saw the title of this thresd i was expecting to see a rough coat !!!!!!! Yis Mars.....
  3. Dog Pups At 2 Weeks Sorry dog pups Can Not be chosen until they are 6 weeks old when Moorman1 has chosen his, Bitches can be booked at 4 weeks when i have chosen which one i`ll be keeping...... Yis Mars.
  4. Thanks L8 and Hudson, Lonedigga, this is why i stated in the original add that "in the right hands" these pups will make excellent allrounders, Both sire and dam are laid back dogs and are only switched on when the need arises, The Dam has won Quite a few Obedience competitions, one being Chatsworth novice 2006, So not your typical point and shoot lurchers, But strong, fast, good nose, and inteligent. Yis Mars...
  5. Sorry to hear about your loss mate, he was a crackin lookin dog, Yis Mars...
  6. Well they`re only one week old today, and on looks alone i`ve changed my mind every day as to which one i like, I`ll be choseing my bitch at 4 weeks and moorman1 will choose his dog at 6 weeks, Even though i`me biased i`de say this is a cracking litter, Mars..
  7. You would`nt go far wrong with one of these, http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=60400 Yis Mars.
  8. Have a bump on me mate, Mar lady likes em, and if i had the space that would be a good excuse for a bushing dog lol........ Yis Mars.
  9. Not a lot of difference in size at the moment Waz, but they are only 3 days old, so i cant tell coat type at the moment either, i was hoping for a rough or broken coat myself, but whatever they are rough or smooth, this will be the last time my bitch will be mated, and i`ll be keeping one for myself, Yis Mars.
  10. Very nice dog Trunk, hopeing to get somthing similar from this mateing, Yis Mars........
  11. This is a 1st cross owned by Moorman1, He`s 22" and around 20kg and although he`s a small dog for what some people like he`s a game dog, with brains and a good nose, and very biddable, which is what convinced me to use him as stud over my bull X bitch, Yis Mars.
  12. I`ve never wieghed a fox, but had to take a pic of this beggar as it did seem to be a good size when my bitch caught it, "Pre Ban" Yis Mars.......
  13. Yeah your right their bud, but i.m.o. they`ll be more than that, both parents are inteligent, biddable dogs, The dam has won a fair few obedience competions in her time, so not your typical point n shoot bull cross, although she does that well . Seen these pups tonight for myself.. little crackers, Well done Mars, Enjoy your weeks maternity leave from work.. bet your shattered mate, Well your happy enough with the pup you`ve got from my bitches last litter, ar`nt ya Billieboy, they did think it was wierd at work when i told them i wanted a weeks maternity leave for a litt
  14. They`ve Arrived........... http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=60400 Mars.
  15. SOLD Dam = 1st cross Bull/Grey 23" and 28kg {Fit} Takes/Has taken all the Quarry you`d expect from a Lurcher of this Breeding, and some you would`nt expect Sire = 1st cross Wheaton/Grey 22" and id`e say about 20kg this dog has a real presance about him and for a smallish dog he "punches well above his weight" { Owned by Moorman1} The pups will as you can see from the descripction above of the parents probably wont make Big Dogs, but thats not what i was looking for when i planed this mateing. They Should however be inteligent, fast, strong, with a prey drive to die fo
  16. terrier of ferret, 8 foot or 15........
  17. Have to agree with you about the price tag, which seems to be their reason for this cross But Hey who knows what they may do in the field, Is it such a bad thing to add a Standard Poodle into the mix,????? They are a decent size, and underneath that thick coat, they are quite racey, they are also well known for their inteligence/trainability, they were after all originaly a gundog and that fancy cut has its origins in a working enviroment, I`ve also heard of some being pretty game, So i say dont knock it till you`ve tried it, Yis Mars.
  18. Nice looking tan dog mate, I`ll have a litter of pups bred that way, due anytime soon hope they turn out as well as yours seems to look, ??? Yis Mars.
  19. Nice dog adam, looks like sticking with it worked out ok for you. Mars.
  20. All pups are a pain but if you really dont like him and his ways I would get rid of him. I say that because sometimes you just cant take to a dog just like you cant take to some people.I have had that problem a few times and it has never resolved itself by sticking at it. much better to part company earlier than later. It seems a bit as though you are expecting the dog to perform well to pay you back for what you have suffered but you forget that it is still a pup and as a long way to go yet. When in the past i have stuck at it the atmosphere just gets worse until it also brings other dogs in th
  21. Left this show early to bleedin hot for may n marn, Took a few pics whilst i was their,>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Just as i took this pic my mobile rang,.........!!!! My ringtone is a hunting horn, you can imagine the reaction, :11: A pup from my bitches last litter, nice bitch not done a lot yet, but the lad who owns her reckons she`ll do the job this winter, And it was so hot i had shorts on, showing off me tat, Yis Mars.
  22. It`s got better over the years as regards attendance, But the field they use for racing is`nt really big enough I.M.O. and things can get a bit crazy as they dont insist on muzzels for the racing Mars.
