As some of you may know my collie x picked up an injury a few nights ago and is going to be out of action for a couple of months, in the mean time I have a competion to run which im entering my bull greyhound, this bitch has only seen a couple of rabbits and when she caught them she killed them and stood over them and waited for me!! Seen as im going to be doing a fair bit of rabbiting with her I'd like to get her retrieving?? I've owned her since she was 18months old and shes now just over 2, with my collie x I practiced retrieves with balls and other objects and his retrieving is good

Your right "Storm Rider" it certainly wont be from lack of trying she's a good honest dog thats done everything I've ever asked of her, who knows she might be a dab hand at lamping bunnies??? As for you "tod" your two mutts have had a fair few of them EASY Yorkshire bunnies lately havn't they??? I've heard your two will not get out the car now anywhere besides Yorkshire??? You have to drag them out the boot kicking and screaming!!!! LOL Scouser3038

I just like to let the entrants and organisers know that due to unforseen circumstances I have to change which dog im running in the comp. My collie x dislocated and damaged ligaments on two seperate toes, so he's going to be out of action for a couple of months and therefore cannot run in the comp. I am going to run my half x bull greyhound instead its a bitch called nipper and shes 22" and around 50lb and 2yr old. She's hardly seen any rabbits at all and is in no way a rabbit dog so dont be expecting to hear great stories when the reports of the heat come back!!!! lol Im absolut

The bitch has had a 12 months, I am out EVERYDAY OR NIGHT, and i am certainly not a fair weather hunter! hunting is my livelihood so any dog in my kennel MUST pay their way lol! there is no chance taken here mate, I ALWAYS keep in touch with all my pups from all of my litters and always make sure the new owners know that i will buy the dog back if at any point they are not happy, as of yet i have not had one returned, all are working and everyone is happy 100% including me. I personally have only started breeding working dogs in the last couple of years but my parents have done it since i befo

Just been moving house and building new kennels and loads of time consuming shit!!!! Only just sorted now properly!!!! I hope you got your priorities right and built your kennels first LDR !!!!
