There's not a great deal on our doorstep here mate we have to put the miles in to get good nights.

Went out for a quick shine last night with my 3/4 collie cross dog Blue and "tod" with his 3/4 staffy bitch Pepper, they are two fairly young dogs and this will be thier first proper season. The conditions were not perfect, when the moon got up it was practically daylight but the two dogs ran well and we ended up with 21. Not bad to get the dogs going for the start of the season.

Just an idea but would it be better to run the first heat anytime between 1st october and 30th november it will just free up more nights when the moon is not so bright, and also i've noticed theres a couple of lads who are judging 2/3 matches so they would be fairly busy in november???

The first heats mate are gonna be matched with people closest to each other, unless you aint bothered about travelling then you can be put in a hat with the north east lot and take your chances???? Some people are being kept apart in the first heats, but they are willing to match against anyone in the first heat mate, so let me know how you feel about the travelling thing and that'll dictate how your match is decided????? I dont mind travelling really LDR, as far as I can make out you lads in the NE are closest to me anyway??? PM if you prefer

LDR this may have been mentioned in a previous post? If there are a number of competitors that are all similar distances from each other, will thier names be drawn from a hat to see who is matched against who?

The buckles on them are shite but im sure Strong Stuff could replace it for one of his heavy duty dog collar buckles, other than that you dont know you have got them on!!!! and it leaves your back free to carry a bag full of bunnies.

No mate, as you say you'll find out when the final list goes up who's not in it....... nobody is gonna get any different treatment,....... if you dropped out i wouldn't be telling people, the only reason the person dropped out is cos of the travelling aspect.....if he wants to put it up before the final list goes up then thats down to him........... The stuff they make is decent stuff and its quite cheap!!!! I bought the Walton double a few months back. The only problem with them is the delivery!! They take the piss getting the stuff out to you, I waited over a month after the first delivery date!!! but if your picking the stuff up yourself there shouldnt be any probs
