    Going to make a small flight at end of my garden it will be 2ft wide 8ft long and 6ft high and am thinking a 2ft buy 2ft shed on the end ? What birds will do best in there wanting something to sing ? Thanks

    Had an hour on the plots today dug first spuds ( not the best but sure they be tasty, pulled a few beets to culled a cross bread pigeon from my loft , while we was there I swapped some eggs for a turnip and a puntet of strawberrys New pots beet root red onion turnip and pigeon for tea Had some help from the wife too !!

    Jok I do grow some beets from seed yellow and white and pink this year they don't bleed as much and make good gifts when pickeld,

    May be just over a month but not much , no chemicals just 2 ton of duck muck , am new to gardening only had plots 4 years now I just copied the old boys the Alotments, will try get more pics tomorrow, iv changed jobs so now have more time to weed witch makes a massive difference to the look of the plot

    Firs lot of leeks went in when the beets did so about a month ago I think got them gifted they was about 4inch tall

    I have to admit I get my beets in plugs 22 plugs for £1 most plugs contain 4/5 beets and all ways do very well , here is a pic from this morning

    Got winter leeks in do day another 2 rows of beetroot and 2 pumpkins on the muck heap for my daughter

    One of my plots back 3rd is my hens iv devided it in to 3 runs and put them in a run a week that way they all ways have fresh grass Iv planted new spuds beet root spinach cabbage onion red onion leeks lettuce,,,,,, think that's all I have in at the mo , on second plot I have artichokes carrots parsnips more beet roots

    Artichokes are 6 inch tall now , cabbage and beets doing well I will try get some pics up today, iv had more time this year so both plots are looking ok this time , put leeks in yesterday
