    Wouldn't put for clay shooting down, definite no-no. Most clay grounds wont even let you put more than two cartridges in a semi auto anyway.

    nonsense, cant beat a good semi auto at a pigeon shoot and by opening the breach people can see if they are safe, you can even go as far as to get one of those safety flags. A hatsan escort would be around that price range and yes as stated they can struggle with 24g or lighter loads but anything 28g+ you wont have a problem with, at least i havn't. I've even got a pump action, just got it for fun but i like that more than my semi auto.

    Actually i fully agree with the police, if you arn't able to keep firearms with the utmost care and responsibility you shouldn't own them, i bet his kitchen door was unlocked as well, anyone could have saw them through the windows and grabbed them. It's idiots like him who give shooters who follow all the rules to the letter a bad name.

    The person who usually comes with me on my rabbit permission is on holiday for a while so i need someone else to keep me company. It isn't the best permission im not going to over sell it, its about 11 acres good lamping on it and i usually get one or two rabbits a night when i go on it. Would suit someone who just wants to get out for a bit who doesn't mind too much about bag size, post on this thread or send me a PM and we'll sort something out

    Can't speak for the 810 but i love my hatsan escort, everyone who has had the slightest doubts about them changed their minds completely when they had a go of mine, i just love it, perfect for what i use it for and the price makes it even better
