Hi all am bored working night shift so decide to let people know little info about my Harris hawk He's 7 years old and flown every season he's been great hawk and never let me down I do think Harris hawks are miss understood as they know. what just lure machine work or the actual drill/reel combo I used lure machine mate but I will be trying drill and reel combo for sure this season is it sea fishing reel I can see of video and surly that is not fishing line it looks thinker

As I say best dog you can have for hawking is the one that suits your land and needs best

I hunt in mostly wood land and tight bushes ect so terrier is prefect for my needs and I have no time to wait for pointer to mature a friend of mine as gsp and it still maturing now at 3 years old :s

I work patterdale terrier with my male Harris and red tail bushs perfect and got great nose on her I can trust her with my hawks and my dads owls any dog can do any job pick dog that suits you best

I have large pat for nuttal lines she seems to have a lot of bull in her she now 2 years old proven and weights 16 lb 16 tt with nice big head on her I when to breeder as I mistakes her for staff as she reacted one year old and asked to see other pups form same litter all was same and 4 of them was proven out litter. She is game as they come and will go face to face with anything hope this info help you mate Kev

Best advice I can give any new lad that is starting out Get out with as many different hawks falcons owls as possible so you can get best view of falconry then choice the paths you wish for example Hunt hawks Hunt falcons Or just simple fly for fun
