    We took £40 out of the overall total this morning to pay Holly farm for Sunday nights camping, so the revised total now is £1090. My missus will put the cash into my bank account, then transfer it over to the just giving page. Well done everybody.

    Home and sorted now. Another great weekend as always, not sure why more people don't come to it TBH, because it's a great event. But hey, there loss. Thank yous. Dan the man for all the cooking.     On site and set up. Just enjoying the first cold one. Already tripped the 'Leccy once. It's only drizzling now and once it dries up it should be ok. Met and chatted to MickC who was having a sneeky look round. See you all soon.

    Pis*ing it down here at the moment, I'm all packed but hanging on in hope of the rain easing off a bit. The local forecast says it rain most of the day, brightening up about 8pm. Not the best weather for setting the van/tents up in. The weekend weather is looking good though.

    I'd imagine it'll be a Roach a chuck all day, but they'll be small and someone will catch one or two carp that weigh more than the Roach put together. I only fished for them last year coz i wasn't getting any Carp.

    Carp. Fuc*ing things. Dont forget. You can only use Holly Fm Groundbait and feed pellets. No point brniging other feed stuff. Not sure if they'll check though. Aslong as they got micros and 6mm pellets then I'll be fine. I think thats what they do. Although they are Green.

    Walshie + Junior Walsh I didn't manage to fish Gils coz there was a match on, fished Trotters instead. Fished Method on there and caught a few water pigs. Walked around Gils and chatted to one or two guys. Standard commercial fishing, but mainly pole fishing. Across with pellets, down the edge with corn/meat or a method if you like. Not very helpfull i know, but iv'e never fished a "Snake" lake either.

    What time we doing the draw for those travelling up on the day. Is 9am ok for everyone. Fish 10:30 till whenever. Is 1 1/2 hours long enough to get your jam jars and pound nets set up

    We're forecast heavy rain and storms during Thursday night, easing off through to about tea time Friday. Saturday and Sunday should be ok. Cloudy and not so hot as of late. Night time temperatures for the weekend down to single figures. So wrap up warm campers.
