    cheers tomo i no about the the hot water ,but i only do it so it warms them trough ,just peace of mind ,and no thats why i,ll be raplaceing more but if warms the dog trough for abit i do,nt mind

    my water bowls are inside the kennel so dont freeze,,,, i think im right in thinking hot water or warm water freezes quiker than cold water,,, im shure i remember that from science at school your right tomo i was think of warming the dogs trough,as i stated how much water do think a dog needs ,and do they drink more or less with the cold snap

    just wondering how many times a day you lads and lasses are filling them up ,as just keeps frezezeing ,when i fill mine up which is about 5 times aday ,i emty the block of ice,i pour boiling water into the boil [big bowl]and then half with cold ,just wondering how much water do you think a dog needs a day,and do they drink more or less when it this cold,,,,atb,,,and happy christmas ,,,,,gaz

    i,ve bred my bitch twice and both times its been similar breeding ,my bitch is 1/4 bull 1/4 deerhound 1/2 grey ,and i put deerhound grey x saluki grey over her ,she had 5 and and 4 trow deerhound type but with heads ,and 1 bull type ,and then bred with a bull airedale and all the trown the bull type ,what i trying 2 say is when you diulitied the blood that much when does become a lurcher x ,and stop being about percentages can anyone anwser this ,please
