mine have plenty of room to run around,,they live in an 8x5 shed with pipes etc,,,i like the idea of ferreting but could not bring myself to let mine do it{although they would probably love it}....i couldnt bear the thought of losing one maybe,,,,ive read on here how sick you guys are when you lose one of yours down a rabbit hole,,,,,thats probably what happened to the one that i found on dec 4th last year wandering in the road,,,,she is now somebodies pet,,,and lives with 13 or so others,,,,,,id like to go ferreting just to see what it is like,,,,each to their own ,,thats my opinion

i found a jill wandering in the road when i was out in my truck on dec 4th last year,,it snowed the next day and she would have died im sure,,,she was skin n bone,,and had a nasty nip problem,,,,got her home,,put her in a seperate hutch from mine,,,,fed her up,,,4 weeks later she was as fit as a fiddle,,she still was a bit nippy,,i decided not to mix her with my jills but thought it not very nice to leave her lonely in the hutch for the rest of her days,, a guy rang me saying did i still have her as he,d seen her on here and the ferret forums as found/lost...he said he,rehome her with his 13 o

ATB for the future mate with the existing and maybe new coming ferts,,,like everyone says...theres lessons to be learnt ,,soon as the problems spotted take it to the vets....but if the vets werent open or werent helpful i spose all you had to call on was the guys from the forum,,,,your only 16 mate so i personally think you deserve a break,,,especially after your loss,,but chin up mate like the others said,,,life with animals is heart breaking sometimes......i can only voice my own opinions coz i dont hunt with mine ,,theyre pets,not looking forward to when i have to say see ya later to mine i

dunno if its any help but how bout that stuff people make called duk soup?..people sometimes on other forums i seen give that to em it perks em up ,,but im not veryexperienced at ferrets only having had them a year or so,,,,please correct me if im wrong someone,,perhaps its something more serious...but as for saying stick a pencil up its arse..wat a fukin wanker,,what kind of c u n t would say that? we are talking about a serious case maybe fatal,,dont need comments like that on here,,,ps good luck with the poor fert mate,,,,,lets hope it recovers and the outcome is good this time tomorow,,,,i

MY NAMES DAVE FROM KENT,,,ALTHOUGH I DONT HUNT I LIKE TO COME ONTO THE FORUM TO READ OF THE STORIES ABOUT HUNTING WITH FERRETS,,,,,,I THINK MY FIRST VISIT WAS WHEN I STUMBLED ON THE FORUM BY ACCIDENT WHEN I FOUND AN ALBINO JILL IN EBSFLEET KENT,,,IVE GOT TWO PET FERRETS OF MY OWN BUT WOULDNT HUNT WITH EM COZ ID BE GUTTED IF I LOST THEM,,,,I REHOMED THE JILL I FOUND WITH A GUY A FEW MILES AWAY FROM ME ON NEW YEARS DAY,HES GOT ABOUT 12-14 FERRETS OF MIXED SEX AND SHES GOING TO A GOOD HOME,,,I LOOKED AFTER HER FOR 4 WEEKS AND SHE PUT LOADSA WEIGHT ON,,,SHE WAS A HUNTER I THINK SO DIDNT WANNA RISK
