  1. I was hoping everytime he did it the other dog would put him back in his place by a snap or a growl but no such luck
  2. The wheaton cross looks a very nice dog
  3. He's done it to my male staff for a month or so but not tried with my mates lurchers til about a fornight ago but last night he really took the p*** everytime he went near that was it he was at it
  4. Thank you for your advice the collie cross when out with my mates bull cross does snap at him but he seemed to let it happen last night and didn't snap he just stood there and let it happen which is strange for him as he is usual the 1st to put a dog back in its place
  5. Also the collie cross is not a pup he's 4 years old
  6. Also I was taught not to play tug with sight hounds iv done lots of tug training with my staff. Apart from that he is a brill dog his recall is perfect nearly 10 out of 10 same with his retrieve ta for your help
  7. It was while free runing. My mates collie cross didn't put him in is place like normal but there was just the two dogs as my mate didn't bring his bull cross out as when they are all out the collie doesn't seem to stand for it and has a snap and the pup leaves him alone

I took the pup out with my mates collie cross for a walk and all the pup did was mount him I tried shouting at him and he stopped for 5 mins then started again I tried puting him back on the lead but as soon as I let him off he started again he's only 10 month old. Any advice would be great ta tom
  9. What I did with mine is put two cages cloise to eachother and swap beding so they get the smell then introduce them in neutral ground and see how they get on then put them in the same cage and just watch them for a little while

  11. Ta for your help iv not a a problem before with my other ferrerts I'll try and get a picture tonight when I'm back from work and ill try and take just the tip off. The ones I already have have just been put back in a hutch as my staff jumped on the run and broke it so their in a double hutch til I have the time to make a new run or a court
  12. How would I go about sortin it out as the blood vesual is to far down to cut the nail with out it bleeding

  14. That's the problem the pink bit is far down the nail to the point one of her back claws has started to grow inwords. They are a lot smaller than my other jill and a lot more fiesty. Ta for your help bud
  15. Hi iv just got 2 working jills their not the most handleable. Iv noticed their claws are really long and it looks like the blood vesuls have grown too far down to just clip them. I was thinking if I put some sand paper down in the hutch would it wear them down and be safe. Or has anyone got any other ideas ta for your help tom

  23. not really seen anything been out and watched other dogs run and ferret and been out ferreting im waiting for the start of the season. he keeps up with my mates collie cross with ease so he should be fast. im still making sure all the basics are there
