Im picking the jill kit up today so i will ask. Il put them together again in the hutch for 10 mins today and see how they get on. the hob will be vascimated when old enough.thank you all for your help

I used the same as used on rabbit hutches

Im not 100% iv just put them 2gether in the hutch and she just tried pulling him into the sleeping area by the scruff

I forgot to say the adult jill is in a ru. would they still be ok to go together

Iv ad the hob kit 2week and he was weend and the jill im gettin is from the same litter. its the hob who keeps turnin to nip her.

Is it the same with jills i have a kit hob and got an older jill un i was wounderin when to put then together. she has been fine with him when i have had them out together or shud i wait til i get my other jill kit and intoduce them all together at the same time. The jill just seems to want to mother him. ta for your advice

Thats what i was told. thats what my mate said. it was a mate of a mate thing as before my mate was trying to get me to mate him with his hob coz he wanted a jill off her. is there anyone close to sheffield south yorkshire with one. or how much should i pay for the jab

iv managed to get a few pics ta for your help this is my first ferret

Shes seems to have not eaten 2day either so a littled worried. i rescued her a bout 2month back and not long after i noticed she had come into season. any ideas lads i cudnt get her to stay still long enough to take a pic and the misses will not touch her

Yeh it was she was left with him for 48 hours just to be sure would you advise trying again im just a little worried about infection even though the poo is picked up as soon as i see it

Nxt season il be starting to use a whippet but my mates tend to use beddy xs and collie xs

I mated my jill with a vascomated hob just under 3 wks ago and she still is swallen is this normal un how long does it take 4 the swelling to go down ta for your advice

Im looking for a dog this size in a couple of seasons i have a whippet and wanting to add another to the pack for ferreting and mooching and a little lamping im tied between a bedy whippet or beddy whippet grey or a collie x can some one give me some advice please ta tom

Thanks for the advice bud im new to ferrets and hunting dogs only had bull breeds before. il look out for another jill. what i was planning on doing was keeping the jill in the run as it has a sleeping box and put the new one in a hutch facing the run and then swoping over bedding before introducing them together

I have a jill and would like to add another ferret with her shes in a 6ft run with a sleeping box. i have a hutch but before i connect the two how should i introduce them the jill has never had company and what sex should i try and get. i know if i get a kit to let the kit grow before introducing. any help would be great. here is a pic of the run its not finished yet iv got to put some tubing for her to play in. ta tom
