  4. LOL Pianoman love the way you turn your writing's from, Helpful to critical to darn right funny but oh so truthful and informative. Greed is most of what I see in people nowdays, Places I have worked people I have met. Don't get me wrong theres still plenty of good folk about. An increasing number of greedy pigs wanting to get rich quick from crime and ripping folk no matter what the cost! What never ceases to amaze is how it's across every consumable sector I care to look at, I work in used car sales and have done for some years so feel I have the experience to comment lol I also

  14. Hello guys Sorry I am sure this has been covered, Just after tips on hold over shooting up a tree angle about 45 degrees and such. Firing on a upwards angle at zero range what sort of hold over would be required roughly with a .177 also downwards. A link to the relevant post would be just dandy! Karpman
  15. They were on the vermin list in Wales up until the issue of this years WGL, now they're off it again. No shortage of numbers round here, I see literally thousands & thousands of them on a daily basis. Maybe the protection is a good thing if they are genuinely in decline, but they are still a major pest in areas where they are in vast numbers. The cynic in me thinks the protection is all about seeing the huge flocks doing their display for the benefit of twitchers, & not maintaining a stable, viable population.. Can we blame it on Bill Oddy then, Malt? Aye, specky t
  16. LOL, I doubt protection is for the twitchers as the tourism this spectacle generates must be some were on the no were scale I guess. We share our Starling population with a large part of Europe, Some reared here will go there and vice versa. As for controlling them in areas were they are a pest I believe this go'es on around some of the larger roost that are not practical with bird scarer's etc. There probably also crucified over the water there, And why do'es control always mean death? Cheers Karpman
  17. Nice way to kill his ferrets. Apparently starlings have something round their liver that is toxic Darryl LOL that chap was a proper plonker then, Talk about needing to learn the hard way! Karpman
  18. Nice pal, Well spotted and well shot it seems. cheers karpman

  20. Superb mate love it! Nice gun, Nice photo, Nice squizzers! Karpman
  21. Mhm steep decline in numbers since the sixties it seems, Can only kill em once. Karpman
  22. Mhm yeay maybe, Has been a rather large influx of thrushes this year also, Just seems to be a hell of a lot of birds in general this year. Must of been bad over in other parts of Europe I guess. Had to stop feeding fat of any kind in my garden because of starlings, Seeing a couple of million in the air is quite amazing though. karpman
  23. Rekon they have been removed from the list as there in decline, Could be wrong. Karpman Edit; just to add to that, The starling roost at Gretna is something everyone should see once, Amazing
  24. Yeah pal makes perfect sense, I often think some folks are just more naturally attuned to certain things, Music, Drawing, Snooker. What ever really. The rest of us just have to work at that little bit harder lol. A friend of mine can drive very, To the point of were it took him to racing sure he practices and practices a lot but was definitely a natural air about. Glad to say he can't shoot for toffee yet at least lol Great to have a place were we can all benefit from other folks expertise, Have a safe journey back to Germany mate Karpman
  25. Cheers pal, Nothing today so had to settle for some partridge from the freezer lol. Not a bad thing of course. After eating me squizzer at tea break at work. I find my self with at least one more to deal with from a large garden lol. Will try and roast it perhaps this time. Karpman
