  1. Yeah went there to get the raider lol. To be fair the chap at shop was a sound fellow and he says it will be sorted. But was a bit on the off side selling me a gun thats not working right calmed down now the fosters has took hold and love the feel of the gun. The air cylinder is a little tatty not much like but would like to refurb it a little if i keep it. What they like to remove. love the mk1/mk 2 comapred to mk3 also karpman
  2. Cheers for the great advice again shay, They were sound at the shop and completely understood when i rang them after having it checked. I thought at the time it was a little pricey but the 3 month parts and labour warranty and the fact it was a shop seemed to make it worth while. I have had a few plinks in the garden well around 6 mags lol and it was putting pellet on pellet. Have lost total confidence now is my only trouble even though i am very fond of the gun. Cheers karpman
  3. Hey guys Today I went to the shop with purchasing a gun on my mind, After much picking up and putting down new and used rifles of all kinds I settled on a tidy AAs200 Mk1 in .22 flavor with Hawke 3-9x40 hd sport scope 10 shot and fell in love! Cost 280 with gun slip pellet lube everything really. Got it home and noticed a screw on the side with a nut on a fair out and loose, Not wanting to break anything I raced to my local gun shop to get it checked out, Basicly he said it's f**ked either been tampered with or the regulator is shot it? excuse the pun. Results from his chrono as fo
  4. J.r Hartley with a touch of Crabtree I rekon. By far the most enjoyable read I have had on a Forum in a long time, Would honestly love to read more stories and would be first inline for a book. Very well written indeed. Had to read it again! And let the father in law have a gander who is off to the gun shop tomz. after a springer. Many thanks Karpman

Nice one wurz, I find my self currently scratting at minimum wage barley scraping a living for greedy folk, Still i have a job and think me self some way lucky as 2 buddies have been unemployed for upwards of 6 months getting tossed about buy agencies promising work that ain't coming A hobby/pursuit keeps you on track..... Country is fast heading to the dogs, To much greed live and let live and wait for the riots to start...... karpman
  8. LOL loving this thread. Not done any poaching at least not yet, Did slap a copper some 10 years or so ago and got a good hiding and hours community service "got done for affray or similar cus i got such a good hiding". At the ripe old of age 30 not sure I could be arsed to run, Hmm maybe if he had a gun I would otherwise face the music and take a slap. Brilliant stuff keep it up! karpman P.s been told they come lamping for ya have to cover your dogs eyes when your hiding?
  9. The Bword has stitched you a kipper mate defo, Wish your daughter all the best and hope she gets her rifle soon pal. Keeps us posted pal and hope muppets like the guy who ripped you off disappear into a very deep whole, I'm still hunting for a rifle waiting for the right one i can get face to face. Got me first permission too but gonna have a look with the dog. A rugby pitch of all places lol well 3 of them and quite a bit off room to be honest with rats and rabbits galore or so i'm told. Karpman
  10. God makes ya sick..... Dam bet we will see more of this too, Dam country and it's people going to the dogs. Got a couple of kids my self mate and hate to see them heart broken like this. The very thought makes me ill. You have a PM bud Karpman
  11. LOL nice hedgehog piccy mate. They used to scare me to death whilst carp fishing, Grunting little sods... karpman
  12. LOL sorry mate was maybe a bit Hastie with my assumptions. And don't mean to offend anyone or owt of course. Just thought the .22 had more stopping power as apposed to going straight through and losing quarry, Not speaking from experience here just rattling off what I have read. Even hitting kill zone can and will cause a straight through giving the quarry a shock reflex of sorts to fly or run some. But pretty tempted by this raider at the minute, Get the raider + bottle/pump gun bag and such and upgrade the rifle if needed when funds allow again? Hoping to be working in tandem at som
  13. After a bit of research I found out that the raider 10 may fit my needs if it is indeed a Brummie model. Only other trouble is it was .177 which is maybe not the best option for a hunting rifle? karpster
  14. 3-4 Am around here used to be sweet area when i used to go lamping with my mate and his dog. Still get walkers around these parts upto like 8ish pm karpman
  15. Cheers guys, It was bad enough to make me think I was holding a leftie for a moment even though there ambi. Hanging it out for the right rifle. The raider would of left plenty in budget for a pump/tank and a few tartie bits like swinging targets and stuff lol. Forums seem to be the best supply of used rifles but would much prefer to face to face deal so guess will just have to hang in there, Had a look at that hunter field target ranges too interesting stuff indeed. Karpman
  16. Hey guys, Went over to the range which has a nice little gunshop today to play with a few rifles. Had my heart set on a AA S200 really that was until I picked one up with a mk 3 stock, Felt like it was twisting my left wrist somehow and was not a comfortable holding it for more than a few seconds. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Not gave up on the S200 yet just looking at alternatives. One gun he had in the used section was a Webley Raider 10 in near mint condition built in brum. Felt nice to hold and was 250 or so with a Hawke Nighteye job so would leave me enough bud
  17. Glad ya well mate. And wish you all the best with any problems you may have. Karpman
  18. haha silly sod lol.mine can be a lazy sod most of the time too.hes coming on great, hes finally come round to liking the car now(especially landrover) which is great because before he woulnt come near me if he knew he was getting in car but now hel actually willingly jump in! i took him for a walk few days ago and my staffy was working hedgerow and put up a rabbit that flew passed the pup at full speed,he took after it but just missed it by a whisper as it went into another hole.it wasnt long, maybe 70 -100 yrds but i was happy as larry and he seemed to love it as he was looking for more! rece
  19. Dam £275! Dude tried to get 330 outa me + scope and the rest.... Extra glad I din't take the plunge now. How's the pup doing mate? Shawns a lazy LOL. Much loved though and coming on well. His prey drive seems to be getting there too, The plonker went for some jelly fish on me tv and sent 37 inches flying It lent up the wall at the back thank god. Time for some brackets me thinks. All the best Karpman
  20. Nice one shay mate. Thanks again for advice other week. karpman
  21. Hi mate I got the same garb from my local gunshop. "never had one back, Not even traded back in!" Yada yada. Having a good look around it. I noticed that the craftsmanship was a little tatty to say the least especially the trigger which had a bur on that would take ya finger off. As far as Pcp's go I now little or guns in total for that matter but this thing just did not match the build quality of other rifles on show. I work in used car sales so was ready for his garb anyhow Just my opinion bud don't let me put you off. And am sure with a little emery and half an a hour the trigge
  22. I had a much more worthy budget a couple of weeks ago but due to unforeseen problems in the family, Things are a little tighter. Seen the video mate was superb 81 mtrs is incredible, Fine shooting indeed. Gonna hang on until the right weapon comes up and my budget will be ever expanding anyway. Both the Bsa and the AA sell for a fair price used. Many thanks karpman
  23. Cheers guys. Been eye'ing up a couple of ultra's also. Semi tempted to go with another AA tx200 or similar and be done away with charging. But have had a Tx before so i ought to go for a PCP just getting a tad impatient waiting for the right one lol. By the way the Ultra with Synth stock looks amazing Karpman
  24. Any pics and were ya based mate? karpman
