  9. Hey again, Just give me a little nudge when ya get sick of ma rubbish Managed to negotiate a little tea time shooting at the small copse type thing at work, Barley 20 trees and some leylandii. Holds a good few pigeon odd squizzer and if I get lucky maybe a Jackdaw or two! Downsides are I have to be discreet and can only take what I need for the pot, No real downsides then.. Anyhow taking advantage of what I have, I spotted a woody feeding happily in the ivy at almost direct eye level, Got as close as I dare around 20 yards. He made a superb dinner indeed, The S200 is earning it's

Most stuff tastes alright in a stew I guess, If in doubt get the chilli powder out! I draw the line at rats though Karpman
  13. Sounds great pal, Load the old diesel up with some bio diesel and away I go. Not to far to make a day of it either, Would have to limit my self to a Sunday or every couple of months though.. Looks exactly what I am after. Cheers mate Karpman
  14. LOL indeed they seem a little thin on the ground, Gonna contact the one in Derbyshire less than a hour a way. Seems popular, Guess legislation cost of land and dam insurance keeps these clubs to a minimum, Or just get friendly with a few guys at Kibworth and see what the crack is I spose lol. Karpman
  15. Cheers for the heads up pal, Kibworth is a good hour each way, Which I don't mind it's just busy and rather small lol. Yeah I'm being picky Karpman

  17. Hey, Looking for an Air rifle/Gun club In leicestershire type area. Been to Groby and they catered more for straight target shooting with rimfire/blackpowder etc. Idealy looking for a club that likes a bit of HFT and runs odd comps and such, Practice whilst decent permission trickles in and after a sample at kibworth it was dam right fun! Tall order I think, Seems easier to get into the stone masons lol any advice on that greatly appreciated too lol. Many thanks Karpman
  18. Hanging em seems to be the norm around these parts . Do find it a little hard to believe, Feck were I work you here if anything local cracks off straight the way lol. Can't see why he would lie, Chatted to mart in the past and seemed fair enough type of chap. God knows, Sitting here looking at me pup thinking you lucky Eat the f*****g gusset outa some of me misuses undies and gets to stay in the fecking house! Karpman

  21. Hey guys happy to report the stew was very pleasant. Eat a small bowl last night but was much better for dinner today with some crusty bread, The meat was a real surprise and is the first rodent I have consumed. Glad you enjoyed the read guys, Felt I just had to write about it, And gives me pleasure to read you kind comments indeed. Cheers folks Karpman
  22. Cheers mate, Tastes bloody good tbh. I eat owt though lol Firm texture to the meat, Perhaps even a little tough. Good flavor, Will eat more without a doubt. The 2 or 3 seconds before following through with stage 2 of the trigger, Maybe not even that I steadied as the adrenalin eased off and new it was time to pull, Almost sounding soft here lol. I'm not and have killed before, The execution was perfect or as dam near if I do say so my self. And more than a little chuffed to be honest. Cheers Karpman
  23. Cheers guys, Not my first kill, First for a long time. I'm not a big advocate of killing in my garden and I sure ain't about to decimate the couple of woodies and odd Collared dove that venture to feed on my lawn lol. Will be a very memorable kill all the same, Have been practicing for it thats for sure. The rush was unbelievable and was almost personal being in my back yard As for the taste can't fault it mate to be honest, First for me also if anything it has a nice texture a little like kidney is the only way i can explain it, Most of my meat comes delivered from driven shoots
  24. Hello Guys, Those of you who have read my threads before know I am fairly new at this and many of you have helped me along the way. I was about to step out the house and go for my Sunday lunch at the Inlaws today when a quick glance at my bird feeders revealed a greedy Squizzer just hanging on in there and helping himself! I very nearly walked away right then, But a sudden rush of adrenalin pumped through my veins, I quickly un sheathed the S200, Cocked and loaded. The bugger was still there happy as Larry chomping away on sunflower seeds and decimating my feeders at around 25 yrds
