am going tonight will post up , bit patchy yet so av been told but just yer luck as u know last year had days of 2/8 fish but 1 day we had 100 in an hour between 2 and at low water too mackies aint daft if the baitfish aint around neither r they Good stuff matey ! You should get yourself a terrier for company when fishing there ? lol thats a pic i got from a fishing site but its the same mark i go to theres loads of them along the shore ,i tried luring them in to no avail .they stole a guys sandwiches when we were there last year air rifle u would need :thumbs:

Well, someone else said I can use their hob on my jill so ill probably end up getting a hob in january or december and snipping him then or ill wait untill the jills are out of season. get the hob sniped aug then he be ready the next season u need to wait a few months after the op anyway before hes clear so you rkn I should use another hob and then get mine done in like august (next year)? assuming your getting kits now .or u may get an older working hob that can be done early next year but u still need to wait around 3 months before hes clear by then the jills have already been

I'll remember your wise words next time I'm ferreting. Instead of pulling their necks I'll chuck any rabbits I catch in a big sack and take them to the vet to be humanely destroyed.. Taking an animals life is part and parcel of what we do. To me it doesn't make a difference if it's quarry or sickly stock. My animals are all with me for life, and if for some reason they had to go, they'd go. It would upset me as much as it would upset any non hunting, pet animal owner who needed to put a pet to sleep. Would it stop me doing it though? No.. Just because you haven't got the moral coura

thats the way we always done it ,plus there was no internet around then just done what everybody done .never heard bout jill jabs untill the 90s no idea how long its been around but then they say its now outdated and potentialy dangerous just get implants at 90 quid lol .am only goin down the vas hob route cause the internets talked me into it plus if it backfires least it will cover a working jill ... the power of advertising and the internet right enough

no its a fair point dotty u got a buyer and a target , i agree locators r great but theres a limit u can dig lol .the average starter can still enjoy the sport without being pressured in to buying expensive kit

like everything new stuff costs money ,ferreting was simple when i started a few nets, a box and a ferret a few sanies and u were off ,catch a few bunnys home wet tired and happy .now its vet fees (jabs implants vasectomys ect) locators £170 quid ok there handy if your chasing numbers but in truth never lost a ferret yet maybe an hours wait max , sumtimes people think spending money solves all and get caught up in all the new gizmos .i dont even wear a watch when i go ferreting and the phone gets left in the car try it sumtime
