Scotland Foxhunt show near selkirk
BLACKWATER... replied to scottish hare hunter's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
the judge at the show who was doing lurchers never checked there feet etc first thing a running dog has to have is good tyres ,looked like a show judge , not a genuine lurcher man the first thing i ask a judge weather coursing hunting in a feild what do you keep run he says not got any dogs ,wasnt what i call a workng lurcher judge denn or myself could have done a beter job lol, nice little place weather hot, but judges cant see them into running dogs in a big way nice day out all the same ,but a mile away from a proper working lurcher judge,a dog has to be and look functinal to win, -

flaks nothing if backed up with true knowledge on dogs and hunting , if you have the minerals to back it up in the feild baw , if you write from hard one expierence genuine hunting men not internet hunters soon see whose done a bit or just messing at times -

they maybe dont want real world articles thought many times about putting real world paragraphs with pics , then thought what they done for working lurcher etc, could do alot about the hunting before the ban or in the usa or rabbiting .but you have to be at one with the mag and like it to give them hard one knowledge for a few pounds at times, 50 pounds is not bad , and if you have a stile that people can relate to in the feild , i enjoy the nitty gritty of life the characters in it not luvly jubbly and all wrapped up in cotton wool but everybody got there likes dislikes -

a mile away i can see rabbits never ever thought whall did in lauder in the ninties it was real rabbity ,thousands could be seen over the estates and farm land , took 68 out of 3 feilds , and could have tok 3 or 4 hundred if you went till dawn with dogs and gun , last time i heard of big bags was 2007 mates were up from mountain ash they let go 500 bullets must had 380 rabbs, abour 40 min from house . summers hoaching but come sep onwards you see a wee drop on them ,never ever thought a big deal taking rabbs if there there for the cacthing early on in season .any half decent collie cross or mo -
