Scotland Shows, what do they lack?

very true sky cat when you see dogs with not a mark, running lures if it was there last supper ,never went to a show for over 13 years ,been to several over the last few years ,for a day out a bit of bartering ,never had a dog getting exited over a lure ,some take the racing more serous than actaul working a dog and lots dont no much about working a dog, i support the hunts even thp they are not into lurchers etc running dogs we used to go to new market many years ago was a good sho had obeidence proper racing three hundred yards lal hardy, stat staiton stag carter i met and several other lerc -
andy i new that all along hence i bought saluk types twenty years ago from sniper tor of dartmoor but i bred my collie crosses into them ,for better re call and general lamping walking ,thats why youll not see just colie typs about up here so much ,with serous dog men , but twenty years ago we did, the saluk has been the most important dog to breed into lurchers in the last twenty years ,to give running wind natural turning and boxing qaurry of cover , i still keep collie types ,great for ferreting etc ,but if your driving round twenty odd 40 50 60 acre feilds with dogs out you need a diffret

tyla a wasted journey , all along texas on the iol feilds they had running dogs for coyotes jack rabbits ,but its that big yo dont see them about and lurcher shows arent there thing yet ,nebraska has afew shows dog sales ,its agreat country for running dogs

they look pacy enough , winds inherited at times ,the way mark cornwall lamps them long winded dogs would do better ive drove feilds for twenty years my mates before me ,the collie type were not realy for that but the saluks seem to take it in there stride , when i drove feilds with the colie type they were fine but being heavier and diffrent built from the saluks took more out them,i think thats were some go wrong with dogs ,you bred your dogs to lamp small feilds with lots of game i bred mines to lamp course big land not lots in each feild but big runs at times ,but lots of land to go at , i

good pics had lots of days nite like that with freinds not here now , from just over the border , had some [bANNED TEXT] runs on winter wheat all you could here was feet going like a drum then a roar or sqeel ,bred alitter last year and one of the dogs is just [bANNED TEXT] for the job nice stamp , ive always found dogs better than bitches at times for single handed sport more power

had whippet greyhound type but not pure whipps a bit small and wrist and stoppers could get hurt ,if you work them alot on dry arable land ,but grassy land be fine at times,

winter time , you can by lamps there for 15 quid cyclops not a bad little lamp , i think half of the fun of cacthing game is a good dinner and a few bob for your tiol tiol ,big red were you from , you got any dogs , kittle if you have an imaginaitin you dont need pics , but got plenty

never been , but my buddies there not walmart mad as some are old fashion and walmart has shut alot of small town shops ,i like buying all the spices from there gator aid all the dog stuff saves you and your mates a fortune ,all in all a great place for proper coursing ,no laws on jacks ,coyotes, raccoons hogs, and plenty public land old farmer had a ranch in san antonio thats were dutch got his smooth cold blooded staghounds from ,and he showed them how saluks could take the heat etc long running wind , back in the seventies , makes us look like apostage stamp

there a few marras up at one of the farms i go on , one that had minshaws from whitehaven, they had them back in ninties got just whippet crosses now , doing cable laying plenty copper lol a scrap mans dream ,

we never done any sight seeing that trip all hunting with dogs and a bit shopping in walmart now theres a place for cheap tools and hunting clobber ,an estwing long handled 24 oz hammer for shuttering was only 13 quid 40 here , i usaly fill a suitcase bring it home and barter with the natives here lol,im glad ive had the chance to see some real hunting , on all sorts with expierenced hunting guides , they like scotland but not the laws , end off realy ,went cat fish fishing no noodling just rod and crawfish and bait , good eating side fillets, ther e not into collie type over there probaly wou

malt there plenty there mate , was down in south wales not that long ago with freinds from aberdare there up shortly good lads the mountain ash lads , there more terrier men but app good running dogs to , had them out fishing pullin nets pots then they were out roe stalking rabbit shooting they shot a thousand 22 bullets the buggers , on a mates estate they go mad up here with the game and fish , they even took cooked lobsters home in plane i was laughing like hell ,next to the scots got plenty time for them welsh lads

its a hard anser as whe you out at nite dogs of leash if something gets up well its sometimes to late , you just have to be carefull ,cookie, some have no respect for there animal tho ,some miss them dearly tho i would say ,nobody wants to lose dogs for an unjust ban
