my advice would be to stay away from a line that has a name tag on it alot of pups have been bred from dogs that have big names and not all have been bred for the benefit of the terriers and the soon to be owners who want to work them but yet folk buy the name regardless its hit and miss with any line you get so your better going for a pup from 2 guranteed workers rather than a specific line worker to worker all the way and you should do alright with any pup you get when you start taking dogs with famous names attached to them then its a bit more of a risk on wether the pup

thats a fact. seen a fella do that 2 years ago with a can of corn beef just so he could get a few extra euros for the dog. the poor dog was cut to bits. i was sickened. tolod him what i thought of him and walked out of yard. never went back or spoke to him since. atb.j. i'm pretty sure if i saw somebody do it then i would be doing more than telling him what i thought before i walked out of his yard

i've never heard of folk doing that but if they actually did then the scummy b@sterds need starved and have their faces rammed into a tin of food even the best of boxers get hit from time to time but you cant say he got beaten because he has a black eye the same as you cant guarantee its a guaranteed worker if its face is all scarred up i know of a bloke who has a wee patt bitch thats face is all scarred up but not one of them was from work they were all from the litter sister attacking her i have seen the bitch work a couple of times and she dont take stick but works very well

why is it a lot of folk judge a dogs working abilities by the scars they have? i see folk asking if the dog does the business and as the dogs dont have many or any scars and the dog gets doubted but dogs with a face full of scars the replies are i see he does the job for you nice dog etc i've seen dogs work for years and not take much stick if any and yet i've seen dogs take stick from 1 and the face looks like its done many a days work when in truth its only been to 1 whats your views on this matter? mine is the old saying of dont judge a book by its cover this

i dont agree with that myself but its a different culture that dont see them as pets its all food to them there on a different wavelegnth from the rest of the world and it will always happen no matter what animal rights groups meddle all the big government suits all eat the meat from dog , the kids in school eat dog so it will never stop going on If dogs are raised as livestock and eaten then for me it's not the end of the world. But how they are kept and how humain the way they are slaughtered bothers me very much. like i said buddy i dont agree with it myself chickens ha

hahaha i was out lamping one night and before i started i saw some other folk lamping so i caught up with them and when the time was right i ran down the field towards them shouting hey ya poaching b@sterds come here or i'll let my rottie off the lead to yous hahaha they ran like fuk and i was rolling about laughing turned out it was my wee cousin and his mates hahahahaha i couldnt breath for laughing when i eventually got them to stop running and empty their pants

i take it your wife is scared of the dog now you should work on her confidence around the dog with her giving all the commands and you hanging back and only interviening when absolutely nessescary the dog will soon see her as the alpha amd will soon settle down around her as with the snapping at the other dog as been said they will sort it themselves soon enough , sometimes not but you can always keep them seperate from each other if your happy with the dog then i think you should work with your wife and her confidence around it before trying to rehome or swap for a dog
