    Some of the lads who frequent some of the other sections on here , ferreting. falconry, groundwork shooting etc can you just put a quick pointer on those sections to see if any of those on those sections will join hands in a new association, no doubt a lot only go on the sections relative to their interests so may not be aware what we are proposing, the same could possibly done on other sites also ,no doubt we may attract attention from the antis but they will already have the jungle drums beating the momentum needs to be maintained as the proposed amendments to be discussed may take place so

    I could look into it but it could be quite costly to do it right, domain names, SEO's to get to the first page in google, graphics,design etc. you could use the free websites but im not sure how they work, if we could get together and set up a group/club its something that should be done properly.My Mrs is an seo for a web based company. she has got them to the top in all the countries of operation.     My two penneth is that given past events its time for a clean sweep a new approach and the way forward is new grass roots to the top reorganisation.if that requires a new association that is the way to go. So people dont think I am angling for a position I will remove myself from any kind of authoriy and am perfectly willing to work in the background in strategy and planning activities . This is gaining momentum and there are some class lads and ladies coming on board so throw your whole hearted support behind them.

    We can get a date from Mr Bonner then We know what time frame we are operating in .Alan Tyers can have his input as and when he is ready, just as every one else will have an opportunity to register their views and ideas for consideration, We need to know a time scale as these things need to be pushed forward or the likely hood they will fizzle out due to lethargy and apathy as appears to be the case of many other failed attempts to mobilise the working dog lads and get and see tangible results.

    Getting other associations to come on side will be easy compared to trying to get the labour members of parliament along with Sdp to change their policies which will be required to get any meaningful amendments and changes to the present legislation.. You dont go into battle half cocked or with an army of poorly prepared volunteers. The insurance is a personal choice for third party liability much the same as house insurance was going to say car but that is a legal requirement.

    I will travel where ever as I do for my hunting. Any lads willing to take an active part lets have names and suggestions for a initial meeting to formulate policy. Any lads already in groups . terriers, ferrets , birds etc talk with your reps about associate status for the association any one want to suggest possible names for the association, Time is our biggest enemy the rest we can control

    Rob has got a chink of light through the curtains of C/A Mr Bonner has put an offer on the table lets grab it with both hands, ,organise a strong committed negotiating team to represent a Lurcher/working dog association and get ourselves the best chance to put our pass time on the front of the table in any future possible amendments and legislation.

A student studying IT could do it good start to their portfolio and they get the accreditation and design advertising on the forum.It needs to be a full fledged forum not a freebie it needs to portray the group as serious and sustainable .
