    its quite acommon injury to track greyhounds I think there is an operation to split it to a catapult fork type shape and re stitch it dont know what the prognosis is for future running but would think it wouldnt be good especially for a dog running and working on rough ground.     A saluki would run it to exhaustion if the speed isnt there the wind certainly is in most Honestly mate a Pronghorn would run a Saluki to a standstill. i would back a good saluki not much game will out distance a runner. Deer are notorious for being prone to muscle fatique due to stress and exertion that black dog ali. lab cross looked overweight and it kept pace with thePronghorn probably 40 yards being towed a good saluki would do much better no comparison.

    More experienced coursing dog, could have been thrown farer by the slipper LOL Its hard to know with the Arabs especially the gamblers they come over here and buy light coloured coursing dogs and take them back for breeding I will leave a few blanks to work out the finished product

    Look in the UK in coursing back in the day the same nucleus of lads had the best dogs and the best lines, close knit groups. The Middle East has had that nucleus of families for generations and they protect their lines. Post ban in the UK it is now easier to access the coursing lines for obvious reasons the old school most of the lads have retired or got out of coursing, now dogs change hands for decent money so its a open market back in the day dogs of quality changed hands for big money but it wasnt broadcast the way it is now. As for the Sand dogs its the old adage the grass is always green

    The variations in speed and agility amongst the Salukis is one of the reasons that any "Desert Dogs " that do get sold are not the best and are usually dogs that do not have a place in future breeding plans of the families that own them.     A soldier gets paid to do a job, he trains for it and how he does it means that he and his comrades survive or dont. I personally dont have a problem with what he did , my problem stems from is some knob thought it was clever to down load the action onto a computer hard drive and it cost their sarge his liberty.
